A wonderful holiday

Villa Nima was as described - clean, comfortable, wonderfully equipped and perfectly situated. When organising a 'pick and mix' holiday -selecting villas, booking flights, hiring cars all separately, you're always a bit nevous about what you'll experience, but everyone involved from Hazel with the initial booking and arrangements, Angela with the property management, Koula at Ainos Travel (for car hire) to Carl the pool man were all extremely efficient.
The one negative thing was that the floors were not mopped during our two-week stay, which I was disappointed about. That said, when we mentioned to Angela from the maintenance company that an umbrella had broken in the wind this was replaced immediately.
Also, the pool was quite cloudy for the first week of our stay although this was in no way the owners/maintenance people's fault and it certainly didn't affect our enjoyment, and Carl the pool man worked very hard to clear the pool.
However, as a wonderfully kind gesture we were offered the services, free of charge, of Viva, a local lady who came into the villa and cooked for us for the evening. We were amazed that in the space of a couple of hours she managed to prepare a 3 course meal from scratch for 4 people, serve and clear up with such efficiency. And the food was amazing!
We were deeply impressed by this level of customer service from Hazel and Tony, particularly as we hadn't complained. We would highly recommend the services of Viva.
We found some wonderful restuarants within the local area, and our favourite was by far Olive Lounge. The food was fantastic and the service the best we received by far - nothing was too much trouble.
We would definitely visit Villa Nima again and would definitely recommend a visit for a wonderful holiday.

Owner's Response: Thank you for such a lovely and thoughtful review. We had a rare problem with cleaners which was dealt with swiftly. In addition we had a unique occupant who accidently put organic oil in the pool. We put these issues right quickly but greatly appreciated our guests understanding. It was the very least we could do to provide them with our own personal chef for an evening to remember! Thanks very much again and look forward to your return to this beautiful island.
