This beautiful apartment is located in the picturesque Cala San Vicente area, just a few minutes walk to the beach. It is a perfect place for a family holiday, near a beach that is quiet and safe for children to play in, in a very quiet area, plenty of parking space, and with the comforts of home. It has 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable pretty living room and a beautiful terrace for quiet dinners with a BBQ. All necessary facilities such as shops, restaurants, bars, newspaper shops, etc. are a few minutes walk away. There are 3 stunningly beautiful and clean beaches in Cala San Vicente you can reach by foot, 2 of them perfectly safe for children, and with spectacular views. The atmosphere of Cala San Vicente is friendly and quiet. It is about 5 minutes drive from Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, and quite near Formentor, so that the place offers a wider variety of beaches and spectacular views for those who want to explore more of the North of Mallorca.

Cala San Vicente is the closest beach to the picturesque village of Pollensa. It is situated at the end of the 'spinal column' of Mallorca, the Tramuntana mountain range. Its spectacular emblematic mountain - which towers over the 3 lovely little beaches of the area - the Cavall Bernat - has been the inspiration of many famous painters. There is a wide range of restaurants, shops and bars in the area, and even more if you go by car to Pollensa or Puerto Pollensa, just a short ride away. In Pollensa there are also possibilities for many different activities and interests, art galleries, shops, a golf course and places for scuba diving, horse riding and a large etc. The Sunday market in Pollensa looks similar to how it did a hundred years ago, and it offers the possibility to buy fresh local vegetables and fruits in a happy, colourful atmosphere. For the hiking lovers there are plenty of beautiful walks around the area. It's a place favourite for families and lovers of peace and quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at Shanti's apartment in Cala San Vicente. It was exactly as described. A very well equipped, clean appartment.

The nearest beach is a short walk away, with brilliant snorkelling and restaurants surrounding the beach.

We hired a car and enjoyed the rugged landscape and wonderful views.

Excellent apartment in quiet location

This is a very clean, cool, and airy apartment. It is very well equipped and Shanti is very welcoming and helpful. We especially liked the front balcony overlooking the mountain.

It is in a good location approximately 5 to 10 minutes from the beach shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the snorkeling at the local beaches and found some pleasant beaches within an easy drive Formentor and Cala Murta.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a well equipped quality apartment in a quiet location.

Excellent all round

This is a very good quality apartment, in a very quiet area. It is the best equipped apartment we have stayed in. Shanti is very helpful and welcoming.
The balcony at the front gets some morning sun but is nice and cool later in the day. The terrace at the back gets the sun in the afternoon. There is plenty of space, indoors and out, and the outdoor laundry room, including shower, is a real bonus!
This would suit couples or families with young children, but it would be cruel to bring teenagers to such a quiet location!!
A car is handy (there is a car hire office nearby). There is also bike hire available nearby and Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa are only about 4-5 miles easy ride away.

Lovely Apartment

This is the best equipped apartment we have stayed in - Shanti and Jose have thought of everything! It's clean, comfortable and very homely. The position is ideal - the front balcony looks straight out onto trees and mountains across the road and in June, the loudest sound in the mornings and evenings was birdsong. The rear terrace is large and private, and equipped with table, chairs, loungers and barbecue. The beach is 10 minutes' walk away, as are the nearest restaurants and the small but well stocked supermarket. When we had a small problem with a door handle, Jose was there immediatley to sort it all out. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, helpful and kind and we had a lovely stay. We didn't have a car and found it easy to get to Palma and Pollensa by bus. Getting back from Pollensa was a bit more unreliable, but there are taxis readily available and the flat fare was 12 euros, so it was not a major problem.

Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet, sogar mit guter Klassik-CD-Sammlung und Büchern, kein TV, liegt ruhig und schattig, hat großzügige Terassen. Dank vieler Elektroöfen ist sie auch bei Kälte gut bewohnbar. Ein Auto ist notwendig, z.B. um im Eroski-Supermarkt (ca. 5 min Richtung Pollenca) einzukaufen und für Ausflüge. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderer und Strandurlauber, die es ruhiger mögen. Mit die schönsten Ziele Mallorcas wie Formentor, Alcudia-Halbinsel, Soller sind leicht erreichbar.
Die Betreuung durch Shanti war perfekt und außerordentlich herzlich, die Modalitäten unkompliziert (keine Nebenkostenabrechnung).
Kann uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.
