The island of Skopelos is the largest of the three Sporades islands. Unspoilt and authentic it remains traditionally Greek. Skopelos is an old town and is a delight to explore, with narrow cobbled streets, white painted houses draped in bougainvillea and over 100 beautiful churches.
Considered to be one of the prettiest harbour side towns in the Greek islands. Wandering around the town you will discover a wide range of individual shops, boutiques and bars. On the harbour front you will find a vast array of tavernas all tempting you with traditional Greek cuisine.
As you explore further into the interior of the island you will discover the true beauty of Skopelos. Lush and green, the hillsides are covered in dense pine forests, olive groves and fruit orchards. Accompanied by the sound of cicadas and the scent of oregano and wild rosemary, you will see many different species of birds, butterflies and lizards, as well as flowers and shrubs.
