This is a large traditional terraced house, in the beautiful village of Mellieha. The house can accommodate up to 15 persons + 3 more. The house has a big kitchen dining and TV room, 5 bedrooms, a seperate formal sitting room which can turn into a 6th bedroom, WC, shower, bath, terrace with inflatable jacuzzi () and a large courtyard with BBQ, garden furniture, and splash pool (in summer only), and room for equipment like diving, kite surfing, etc. The house also has a small front garden and a large roof which enjoys a birds eye view of a large part of Malta. The roof is also ideal for sunbathing or having a party. The house is highly finished, furnished, and equipped. It has all you need for cooking and dining, BBQ, internet, Satellite TV, and cable TV, towels, linen, blankets, 2 washing machines, 2 car spaces etc. The house is ideally located in a nice residential area, just few meters from the bus stop & just 2 km away from the best sandy beach.

Mellieha is an old fishing village surrounded by the best of Maltese countryside, the best sandy beaches, and is the less densely populated area in Malta. Thus it is Malta's most picturesque part. These characteristics developed Mellieha to become one of the most prestigious and upmarket areas in Malta. The walks in the countryside can be several km long and you can also opt to visit one of the secluded small sandy beaches like Imgiebah and Selmun. The most famous sandy beaches which are in a radius of 3km are Golden Bay, Ghajn tuffieha Bay Gnejna Bay, Anchor Bay, Paradise Bay, Armier Bay and Mellieha (Ghadira) Bay. The village of Mellieha has also the best SPA centre. There are many good restaurants (from cheap, trattoria style to the most chic and expensive in Malta), supermarkets, banks, and all kinds of shops including traditional shops selling traditional food and traditional items. Mellieha is also on the bus grid and so it is not a must to rent a car.

    Water, electric and gas is not included and therefore paid extra according to metered consumptions at pre fixed rates (of which proof is given to be normal prices). However property is equipped with energy saving lighting.

    A security deposit against damages, and water,electricity and gass bill is payable on arrival in cash. (The deposit is eur 500).
  • The owners can organise airport transfers by taxi or min bus depending on the number of guests. Also we can book car hire, boats, cruises etc.
    The owners are available 24/7 and will meet you on arrival.
  • The owners are always available to give tips on how to make the most of your holiday. Also they offer to help you with the planning of your holiday.

Notes: Kindly note that an inflatable splash pool is available only in summer and placed in the courtyard. The Jacuzzi is an inflatable type and placed in a big terrace connected to the main bedroom. Also the main bedroom has an ensuite with an oval shape bath. The roof is also available or sunbathing or BBQ's. Mellieha's main festive season occurs in the first two weeks of September and reaches its climax on the 8th September. During these days various cultural manifestations are held, such as musical concerts, fireworks, folk singing, art exhibitions and the traditional religious procession.

The house is in a residential area and is nice and quiet. You are 2 minute walk from some bars, shops and the bus stops. We did not bother with a car as you can get anywhere on the island easily by the buses, which to our joy have not all been replaced by new ones.
You can walk to Mellieha village in about 5-10 mins where there is a number of shops, bars and restaurants. Be aware there is an excellent bakery on the way to the village which unfortunatley we had to enter every time we passed. From there it’s about another 10 mins to the beach.
The house is well laid out with everything you need and I’m sure that if there was anything missing the owner would soon sort out anyway. He was very helpful and organised our airport transport for us.
A great location, nice house, couldn’t have been better can thoroughly recommend.
Owner's Response: It is my priority to have the guests happy and that the house is fully equipped with all the guests' needs. I am always at the guests' disposal and can be reached 24hrs a day.

The house is very spacious and is ideal for a family gathering and for a holiday to remember!
