Situated in the exclusive Carre d'Or area of Nice, this palacial one bedroom apartment is near to superb local restaurants, the carnival in spring and with shopping to die for! The size of a two/three bedroom property, you are offered a roomy state of the art bathroom and separate cloakroom along with spacious living and dining space. Up on the 5th floor of a quiet, residential apartment block with unbeatable views along the tree lined boulevard, this property is serviced by a lift with a resident concierge. It was totally refurbished throughout in 2008 and is furnished to a very high standard.. The floors are wood parquet in the lounge and bedroom and tiled elsewhere. The bedroom, quietly positioned at the rear has views of the hills above Nice and the Alps beyond. Step from the sunny living area through the French windows onto the south facing terrace where you can sit in the sun all day long until its time to watch the sun go down with a glass of excellent champagne!.

We recently returned from our stay in Nice and, oh la la! What can I say that others have not already expressed? Yes, the flat is EXACTLY as it appears in the pictures, only larger and brighter, cosy and welcoming. Yes, you are placed in an ideal position close enough to the sea, but sensibly removed to provide peace and quiet during high season. Jane is a witty and friendly host who will make your introduction a pleasant one; after which, it's a veritable host of pleasures that awaits both inside and out - lovely living room; beautifully finished bathroom; great French windows offering vistas of old and new buildings, tree tops and the mountains beyond. Well located for food shops, with by far the best bakery in France, MULTARI, just a hop and a skip from the flat, the apartment is also near the main attractions and key transport links for buses/trains to Monaco; Antibes and Cannes. If that doesn't tempt you, the largely redundant but exquisitely funny 'Mosquito Exterminator' (largely a tampered-with tennis racket) stored in the hall cupboard, provides endless seconds of entertainment as you rehearse summary executions of mosquitoes. We're relieved to say that we hunted down and murdered just two during our stay!

My wife and I stayed in this lovely apartment from the 8th to 15th October 2009. The photo's don't do it justice, the large apartment has everything you need for your stay. It's location is excellant being only ten minutes walk to the promenade, train station & bus station.
I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this apartment as we had a wonderful time.

This was our 4th visit to Nice & the best apartment so far. Ideally situated for beach, shops, train & bus stations & is in a nice location. The apartment was very clean, very nicely furnished & well equipped. Even though it was the 1st week in October it was still sunny & quite hot & we were able to sit out on the balcony for breakfast etc. We were met at the tram stop & taken to the apartment (only 5 minutes walk away) and shown around the apartment by Siamak who was very helpful. On our last day we were allowed to leave our cases in the apartment as our flight was late in the afternoon - leaving us to have a last few hours wandering around Nice. Would definitely book again & recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Nice.
Owner's Response: So pleased the apartment was to your liking and that you were able to enjoy some of our lovely hot October weather. Hopefully it should hold out until the end of the month. We do always let people leave cases if there is nobody coming straight in and up until 4pm even on a same day changeover.

lovely apartment

My husband and I have just returned from a great holiday at this lovely spacious apartment. Furnished to a high standard and situated near supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The seafront and old town and public transport are all within easy walking distance. Breakfast on the balcony with its lovely views just watching the comings and goings is definitely recommended.

Myself and a friend from the UK stayed in this apartment end May 2009, fantastic welcome, great location, beautifully decorated and turned out there was even tea and coffee in the cupboard and milk in fridge if you were tired after travelling (just like home from home); it also has a wonderful balcony with amazing views (exactly as described)! This apartment has easy access to trams which take you all over Nice, the restaurant across from this apartment is fantastic and has great selection and pricing!, would recommend and go again! Thanks for a fantastic stay!
