A happy home, freshly decorated with lovely new furniture. Clean and comfortable with DVD player, new TV, radio CD player, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, private parking for 2 cars, secluded garden with barbeque, off street parking for boats etc. In heart of Wellswood village with great local pub and restaurants - French, Italian, Traditional English, fabulous deli and Premier Cru Champagne Bar & Brasserie. 10 mins walk (1 min drive) to local beach - 10 mins walk (1 min drive ) to harbour - google English Riviera or contact us for further details. This is a very cool area to be staying - the Mayfair of Torquay! Lots of tourist information and contact details at the cottage as well as games, books and DVDs. Torquay is the jewel in the crown of the English Riviera, boasting several beaches and officially the best sand for sandcastles as proved by the BBC! There are 22 miles of coastline, cliffs, coves and beaches and beautiful walks with a climate that belongs somewhere much further south. There are opportunities for all sports and wonderful opportunities to study the natural wildlife at your leisure. Stunning views are to be seen just about every where across the Bay, out over the English Channel , along the 40 miles of Lyme Bay to Portland Bill or inland towards the Tors of Dartmoor. Torquay is an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth , Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth , all of which are only a few miles distant. Sporty types can enjoy golf, sailing, BSAC and PADI diving schools, shore and sea fishing, water skiing and windsurfing as well as bowling, pitch and putt and all major sports. Eating and drinking are extremely well catered from traditional pubs to fine dining.
