Ideally located attractive stone Farmhouse to explore Mont St Michel, Normandy & Brittany. Our Farmhouse, gite and apartment have been tastefully restored to the highest standards. We have extensive gardens and grassy grounds bordered by a stream with fields and woods beyond, are there for your relaxation and enjoyment.It is set in nearly two acres in the outskirts of the village Vergoncey. Farmhouse has spacious open plan hall, Lounge with open fireplace. The beamed but modern kitchen with dining area, integrated oven, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer, 42'' LCD TV (English and French channels), DVD player with films, Tape/CD player, hair dryer, games and books. Cloakroom and an office with unlimited internet access. A conservatory, overlooking the garden and surrounding fields, is ideal for reading and relaxing. All three bedrooms are en-suite. There is also utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. All reception rooms open on to the large terrace.

Granville is traditional seaside resort complete with casino, seafront and gardens, as well as extensive shopping and a market on Saturday morning. You can also take the boat trips to Iles Chausey or the channel islands, but be warned the boats only leave and arrive back near high tide. You can visit the home of one of France's famous fashion designer, Jardin Public Christian Dior, Granville 50405 (19 miles). Those guests who want play golf will find a 9 and 18 hole Golf courses, near by in Breville-sur-mer. Cancale is an ancient fishing port where you can still watch the fishermen unloading their catches and mending their nets. Offshore are hundred of acres oyster beds and you can buy them from the oyster stalls or eat them in the many restaurants on the quayside. (20 miles) If you take the coast road to Cancale you pass many picturesque villages and continue onto St Malo. You can take a micro light trip over Mt St Michel for fantastic view of this famous island at La Val St Pere.

The Farmhouse located 9 km from the most impressive attraction of Le Mont St Michel and Avranches 14 km in the other direction is one of the oldest and historical towns in Normandy. The nearest beach Saint-Jean-le-Thomas 20 km from the house. The farmhouse is situated on the border of Normandy and Brittany there are lots of places to visit and things to do around and about the area. Mont Saint Michel which can be seen few yards from the Farmhouse. The area is easily accessible from the ferry ports of St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen, Le Harve, and Dieppe and 4 hours drive from the channel tunnel. The Village of Vergoncey is under a mile away, has a Baker also selling basic groceries and drinks. Pontorson town mid way between Vergoncey and Mont St Michel, it offers general shopping and restaurants (6 miles). Market day is on Wednesday morning. Saint James a small town offering shopping, bars, restaurants including the nearest supermarket (4 miles ). Market day is on Monday.
