This is a high standard, spacious detached property: tastefully decorated throughout, there are four well appointed bedrooms (3 double, 1 twin) with ensuite shower room to the master and two further bathrooms (including jacuzzi); the downstairs living area has a comfortable seating area with TV/ DVD, a dining table for 8 guests and a fully equipped kitchen including large fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is also a small terrace garden which gets the sun and has patio furniture. Though located on the Atlantic Reach Golf resort, the property is located at the edge and offers a high level of privacy. This property offers the best of all worlds: a rural location with a wide range of facilities on site (indoor and outdoor pools including children's areas, gym, spa, seasonal restaurant, children's playground) with proximity to the surf/beach centre of Newquay, as well as numerous other children friendly beaches so is perfect for family and/ or friend groups of all ages.

Newquay is a popular holiday destination for families and all age ranges. The property is located on the Atlantic Reach resort situated in open countryside just a ten minute drive from Newquay. Newquay has excellent beaches (e.g. Fistral, Lusty Glaze,Towan with Watergate Bay and Porth particularly close and excellent for young families); there are many watersports and surf schools and the property is close to the other top attractions in the area: the Eden project, Seal Santuary at Gweek, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant, Bowling, Horse riding, National trust properties, adventure parks (Crealys, Perranporth), Newquay zoo, Owl sanctuary and much more. There are many local pubs/ restaurants within easy reach and two large supermarkets. From Newquay you can explore the North Cornwall coast down past St Ives towards Lands End or up towards Tintagel. Truro and Helston can be easily visited as can Falmouth on the South coast and the stunning coastline around The Lizard.

The ground floor shower room really improves the flexibility of the property, being useful both for guests staying in the ground floor double bedroom, and for guests who have enjoyed a day at the beach, in the sea or on muddy walks and want to jump straight into the shower on their return.

We stayed at this property recently with our 3 young children and friends. The property really worked for us – it is very spacious, modern, well equipped and maintained. The Atlantic Reach site has excellent facilities – the children’s indoor and outdoor pools are just the right depth to allow older toddlers some freedom in to play, the gym and spa are excellent for some adult pampering and the location so close to Newquay means you have options – either travelling into the attractions or staying very local for the day (which we found vital with small children). The Atlantic Reach resort has a lot of properties and it could easily be argued that this is the best one – located at the edge of the park and being detached there is total privacy internally at the back which is certainly not the case for most properties which are terraced, very overlooked and have little usable outside space, whereas we used the small garden and outside table a lot. The garden is not totally enclosed but given the location in the park we did not find this an issue. I’d highly recommend this one and we will be booking again next year.
