Extended family stayed here for a week in early June 2009. The villa is furnished to a very high standard, from the plasma tv (with UK channels) and large leather suites to the full kitchen appliances to the quality of the bed linen, etc (could go on and on). All bedrooms have full en-suites.
Pool and patio areas get the sun all day, with an abundance of sun loungers. The large fridge freezer provided cold beers when needed and for the first time in years we actually cooked lunch and dinner on holidays, as there is a full kitchen and was extremely handy for keeping the kids fed, without taking them away from the pool for too long! Mind you we also made use of the countless number of excellent restaurants nearby.
The gardens looked lovely, considering they are brand new, full lawns and plenty of flowers. The villa is in a very quiet area yet only 50 yards to the nearest shop and supermarket. 5 mins walk to both the large Erin's Isle Irish pub/restaurant and the swish Montechoro hotel and a further 2 minutes to the top of the strip.
Only 25 minutes from Faro airport, we were actually sitting by the pool 40 minutes after we landed!
Thoroughly enjoyed the break, was very impressed with villa, pool and location. Event the weather was great.
Albuferia is beautiful and we plan on returning to the same villa later this year.
