Luxury self catering 3 bedroom apartment overlooking large swimming pool set in the stunning resort of Praia Del Rey. Spacious master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Two twin bedrooms and large bathroom. All bedrooms have Cable TV with Sky and DVD. Large Lounge/ Dining room with wood burning stove - perfect for those autumn/winter breaks! Complete with 32' Flat Screen TV with Sky, DVD, Music System and Ipod dock. Extensively equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Spacious balcony directly overlooking the pool, gardens and forest area beyond with patio dining set and Gas BBQ. Sunloungers and cushions are provided with the apartment for relaxing by the pool. All bedlinen and towels (not beach) are provided for your stay. Conveniently located 5 mins from the Clubhouse and only 15 minute walk to beach and Marriott Hotel.

Notes: FLIGHTS: The closest airport is Lisbon which is 50 minutes drive to the resort. Low cost flights can also be booked to Porto which is a 2.5 hour journey to the resort. I have detailed directions from both airports to the resort which is mainly motorway. ACTIVITIES: As well as the Championship golf course there are 7 all weather tennis courts with lessons and competitions organised throughout the season. The outdoor activity centre, Clube Aventura offers a variety of onsite and off site activities including Surf, Body board, Quad Biking, Paintball, Archery and Kayaking for children and families. The 5 Star Marriott Hotel has a fitness club,health and beauty salon along with bars, terraces and restaurants to relax in afterwards. There are fantastic cliff top paths and walks along the pristine white beaches. Praia D'El Rey and neighbouring Baleal beach attract body boarders and surfers whilst 3km away is the Obidos Lagoon. Horse riding and bikes can also be hired locally

We were very impressed with this apartment, it looked lovely from the photos and it totally exceeded our expectations. The 3 bedrooms are large, the apartment is well furnished, immaculately clean and well thought out, including small touches like ipod docking station, body boards and beach equipment.

The pool area was never too busy or noisy. Our daughter aged 7 enjoyed the activities at Club Adventurer and our sons aged 14 & 16 enjoyed their surf lessons. There is plenty to do at this resort.

There were lots of lovely restaurants in the area and the information provided in the apartment was very useful. We also made use of the gas bar-b-q provided.

It would have been useful if there had been wifi or internet available but we found a wifi cafe near to the beach.

I would recommend this property to family & friends and I'm sure we shall return in the future.

We had such a good time in this apartment that we would like to return over and over again. First of all, the apartment is even better than it looks on Internet. It is a large apartment, with three big rooms, very clean and well mantained. Second, it is very good located within the condominium, unless you prefer to stay in the main road or near Marriott Hotel. Third, the apartment had almost everything you might need for a pleasant stay, including some food and beverages that we were invited to consume if we wanted to, CD's, movies, CD and Ipod player, TV set in every room, tennis raquets, body boards for the ocean, beach and pool chairs, lots of advices for trips near Praia d'el Rei, and, most important, a barbecue. Finally, the person who manages the apartment was very kind with us. We definitivily recomend this apartment to everyone.
