The beautiful city palazzo Parasion is across from the famous St. Chiara cloister. The house was recently restored and now has a new life: It practically feels like a palace on this goo 100 sqm lovingly furnished down to the finest detail and supplemented with every modern comfort. Hand-thrown tiles in the large eat-in kitchen, warm wood floors in both bedrooms, an old marble washstand in the kitchen and the century old wrought iron turn this house into a special treasure. You have a fantastic view of the ocean through the old swing-out windows in every room and you can experience the feeling of going back in time to the old life of the seafarer. One feels like they have gone back in time one hundred years when they sit with a glass of wine in the shadow of the surrounding palazzi on the piazzetta in front of the house. The glorious high point of the Genoese sea republic with the histories of buccaneers and rich merchants is still alive here.

The impressive medieval city centre of Porto Maurizio - Parasio - reigns over the sea from a protected area. Even in Byzantine documentation it was stated that the city, especially in the early Middle Ages, gained importance and riches through sea trade with the Orient. A typical cityscape developed - influenced by palazzi and cloisters, small plazas and always a wide view of the sea. The beautiful Logge di Santa Chiara, which was made of old for and is open to the sea, exerts a very mysterious fascination. The Old Town centre has shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The sport harbour and one of the most beautiful beaches in Imperia, the Spaggia dÓro is 5 minutes away by foot. There is a modern achievement of a free, public glass lift makes returning from the sea to your urban retreat easier.

Sommerurlaub in Ligurien

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr schön renoviert, ausgesprochen
geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Blick aus dem Fenster vom Frühstückstisch
ist einfach traumhaft. Auch der kurze Weg mit den Aufzügen zum Strand ist
ausgesprochen angenehm, es entfällt die nervige Parkplatzsuche. Die Piazetta ist eher schlecht nutzbar, weil man auf einem kleinen
öffentlichen Durchgangsweg sitzt, wo zudem noch Vespas parken. Das ist aber
kein Problem, wie gesagt, der Blick durch das offene Fenster ersetzt jeden
Balkon und außerdem ist das kleine Lokal neben dem Haus ein schöner
Aufenthaltsort. Note Eins!

wir waren in diesem Sommer im Haus Parrasio mit unseren beiden Töchtern und haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen! Alles hat super geklappt von der Buchung in Deutschland über die Anfahrt und den Empfang seitens der Vermieter. Das Auto haben wir im weißen Bereich geparkt und dann eigentlich nicht mehr gebraucht, da alles notwendige direkt um das Haus verteilt ist. Bäcker und Bar, kleine geschäfte und natürlich der Strand! Wir waren gerne am weniger stark besuchten Strand von Focce, das konnte man zu Fuß auch noch gut erreichen. Ansonsten bekommen die Gäste im Parrasio eine super detaillierte Infobroschüre. Unsere Töchter waren begeistert von den nächtlichen Strandbesuchen mit Disco, wir haben die ruhigen Restaurants auf dem Altstadthügel genossen. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist für ein Ferienhaus wirklich sehr gut, es hat an nichts gefehlt und die Einrichtung ist weder alt noch von Ikea- eher sehr speziell liebevoll zusammengesucht. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit- wir werden Ligurien bald wieder besuchen!

Immer wieder gerne, mitten drin und trotzdem ruhig

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen in dieser Stadtwohnung verbracht. Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen dort und hatten somit üppig Platz. Die Wohnung ist wirklich liebevoll renoviert mit wunderschönen Details und hochwertiger Ausstattung. Gute Betten, ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Die Betreuung war einwandfrei und sehr freundlich, es gibt in der Wohnung eine Mappe für die Gäste mit vielen zusätzlichen Infos und Tips. Die Menschen im Parasio sind sehr freundlich und in unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es viele nette Lokale (von Pizza bis zu ligurischen Spezialitäten). Über Treppenwege ist man zu Fuss schnell am Hafen und am Badestrand und die steilen Wege halten fit! Größere Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar und haben jeden Tag geöffnet. Parken ist im Parasio kostenpflichtig (blaue Zonen) und nicht ganz billig, da von 08.30 bis 24.00 Uhr bezahlt werden muß (in der Saison). Kostenfrei parken ist fast immer am Platz um den Duomo möglich und an der Straße zum Duomo hoch. Wenn man die Via Strafforello durchfährt (schräg gegenüber des Duomo-Portals), gibt es am Ende noch einen kleinen freien Parkplatz.
Wir würden diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder wählen!
