Large, spacious villa with Private Pool. Stunning views from every angle of the villa. The whole villa has only just been renovated to a very high standard. It has the best panoramic views of the beautiful Bay of Roses with its marina, the Pyrenees mountain range (snow cappped normally Oct-June) and the stunning national park of Cap de Creus. All three bedrooms have their own en-suite and the master bedroom really is 5 star with toilet, bidet and your own double jacuzzi bath to relax in after a hard day sunbathing and enjoy some of the bests sunsets you could possibly experience, it still has a huge separate shower too! Situated on the mountain area of Els Grecs, the villa is only a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk down the mountain to the centre of Roses with its many beaches. Situated in a very quiet location you can walk into the national park on a path only 2 mins walk away and enjoy complete peace and tranquility. We can advice you of many seclude bays to go to and enjoy.

Roses is a small fishing town which has a fantastic range of shops, bars and restaurants and has a sandy beach which continues around the whole Bay of Roses. You can also find some of the most beautiful secluded coves with crystal clear waters just a few minutes drive away with golden sand beaches too. By boat you can access any private cove that you wish around the Cap de Creus national park and we have a skipper available to take you there! Situated within the Dali triangle for those interested in art. There is so much to do in and around this area which is why a car is recommended but we can provide a motorbike. We are situated 20 mins from Figueres with the Dalí museum, 20 mins from Cadaques, 40 mins from Girona and just 1 & 1/2 hours from Barcelona for a spectacular day out. The French border is also only 35 mins away. Nearest airports both serviced by Ryanair www.ryanair.com are Barcelona Girona - 50 mins and Perpignan France - 1hr.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 500 euros holding deposit is to be paid at time of booking for each week booked. Final balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
    Once the deposit is received your booking is confirmed.
    Security deposit returned within 4 weeks of departure if property is left in acceptable state.
  • Arrival 4pm - Departure 10am.
    Cleaning is done before arrival and is also included for your departure day. A small extra charge is made for mid-week clean if required.
    Towels for the villa and the beach and bedding all included in the price.
    The villa is situated approx 15 mins from El Bulli - voted the best restaurant in the world and we offer a free taxi service to anyone lucky enough to have a reservation!

Notes: The kitchen is of a high spec Italian modern newly fitted and is extremely spacious. It is fully equipped with all modern appliances including fridge freezer with ice maker and cool filtered water always to hand for those hot summer days. The downstairs area is all open planned incorporating the lounge with 2 leather settees and sofa bed, TV with satellite. This leads into the dinning room area with large table to seat 10 people, which leads into the kitchen. Stunning views are found again from every downstairs window to take your breathe away! There is also a downstairs toilet and seperate laundry room. A FREE welcome pack is provided including Spanish Cava for you to enjoy during your stay. The downstairs opens onto another curved balcony which leads down to a decking eating area and then down to the pool and sunbathing terraces with hammock style sunbeds to soak up the sun. No smoking inside the Villa please, but feel free to smoke on the balconies and enjoy the views!

Excellent villa, perfect for any holiday

I wouldn't hesitate for a moment in recommending this beautiful villa for any family. Clive and Diane could not have been more helpful in assisting us with our two small children and our visit to El Bulli.

Clive drove us and Diane babysat our kids leaving us to enjoy our evening without any anxiety.

Spectacular views are present from virtually every aspect from the villa. The lovely poolside area is perfect for relaxing family days and there are endless activities near by for days out with kids of all ages.

All in all a perfect villa in a perfect location, highly recommended

A fantastic weekend break

We had a great weekend in Diane and Clive's villa in Roses not least because our hosts went out of their way to look after our every need. The villa suited our purposes perfectly as a resting point between our visits to various local restaurants including El Bulli. That Diane or Clive drove us everywhere we needed to go made a great weekend into a fantastic weekend. If you're thinking of visiting El Bulli, this is the place to stay and these are the people to stay with. We'll be back again!

To find a villa that not only has superb views and set with a back drop of stunning mountains but that is furnished and equipped to a standard normally found in ones own own is so refreshing and made our stay an absolute delight. We will definitely return. The photos do not do justice to the view or the villa interior. If you chose this property you will not be disappointed!!

Super holiday place, perfect house.

We finally found our perfect holidy place. In one word: SUPER!. Villa margarita is a beautifull house on a mountain overlooking the bay of Roses. The views from the house are breath-taking, specialy in the morning when the sun awakes, and in the evening with his beautifull colours of the sun. The facilities of the house where excellent, and the kittchen was a blessing for every house-wife or men.
The swimmingpool was a joy for everyone. If you like beaches, nature, beautifull views, romantic diners at the house, big swimmingpool, diving, walking, a clean, modern house, nice and sweet owners, and a safe location: don't wait to long, because you will miss a perfect holiday! We booked already for next year 2010.
