The apartment is ideally located to enjoy the delights of the French life style being in one of Nice’s premier residential areas in the city centre with the Promenade des Anglais only 500 metres away. Within only a few minutes walk there is a very wide range of high quality restaurants and cafes to savour. You can stroll along the beautiful Boulevard Victor Hugo to the magnificent Place de Massena and on to the historic charm and intrigue of Nice Old Town with its myriad of tight knit streets and lanes. Close by is a selection of services including supermarkets, convenience stores, bakers and patissier. The apartment is only 7 minutes walk from the main rail station, and close to the 99 and 98 express airport link bus routes. Nice itself is ideally located to explore the many other delights of the French Riviera with Monaco only 17 minutes and Cannes only 25 minutes away by train. Its worth taking the time to discover Nice in depth : wander at random through the narrow streets of the old town and then stroll along the famous 'Promenade' before entering into the heart of the city with its rich architectural and cultural heritage and its parks and gardens. Nice has a total of 19 museums and galleries, 32 classified historical monuments and 300 hectares of parks and gardens, woodland and green areas in addition to 150 ornamental lakes and fountains. The National Museum of Modern Art is a must even if you are not an art lover. There are fantastic photographic exhibits and wacky sculptures that will entertain children just as well as adults. Not only that entrance to all Nice's public museums and galleries is free now all week as the new Mayor made this change in 2009. It is also easy to go skiing from here in the winter months. Resorts can be reached in only one to two hours drive and many of the locals do just that, sometimes staying overnight in a resort too.

SORRY BUT SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT OR THE COMMON AREAS The location is superb, convenient for so many of Nice's favourite spots. The magnificent Promenade des Anglais is literally 500 metres away, 5 to 7 minutes walk through one of the City's most affluent areas. Just under 100 metres away is a lovely gated park where you can relax and soak in the very French ambiance. Only one minute from the apartment is a lovely baker and across from this is a great corner convenience store, well stocked and with wonderful fruit and vegetables, hosted by very friendly staff. Nice has a fabulous array of restaurants and within just five minutes of the apartment there are a wide range of high quality establishments to suit a range of international cuisine and budgets.

Very helpful owner and delightful property. Clean, airy, spacious, tastefully decorated and lovely position a short walk from the beach, railway station and a little further to the old town encourages a stroll along the sea front. Highly recommended. Our friends who accompanied us were very pleasantly impressed with all aspects.

Perfect Location to explore Nice

We have just returned from Nice, and stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. It was a great apartment in an ideal location just down the road from the Hotel Negresco. The agent looking after this property was extremely helpful, giving us plenty of information about the City. The owner of the property ( Peter) is extremely efficient regarding the booking of the apartment and kept me well informed. I would definitely use this lovely apartment again.

Really a lovely apartment

This apartment is a really good one, and it exceeded our expectation: two large beds and enopugh space for 6 person.
Everything is new and perfectly clean, with 2 bathrooms and a gorgeous shower.
The owner answers quickly to every request and he provides you with a lot of useful information to enjoy your stay.
