White Sands Beach Villas is a newly (2008) built apartment block on the beach at St Lawrence Gap. Villa M is a one bedroom apartment on the second floor and has a west facing aspect from which to enjoy golden sunsets. This apartment is finished to a high standard, utilising cedar windows and doors and ceramic floor tiles throughout. The accommodation comprises bedroom, en-suite bathroom, further shower room and wc, fully fitted quality kitchen, sitting room and dining terrace. All furnished to a high standard with, mostly, period furniture brought from England by the owners. The dining Terrance features modern resin/rattan furniture, especially imported from the manufactures in India. This comprises dining table and four chairs and two luxury loungers.

Notes: The dining terrace, which is 20 x 10 feet comprises dining table and four chairs, sideboard which is equipped with place settings and serving bowls and also there are also two comfortable loungers and a drinks table. This is a west facing terrace and you can sit on the loungers and enjoy afternoon sunshine and the sunset over the sea.

The description was accurate. The unit was clean and well mantained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owners provided us with great customer service.

The condo is located right next to Dover beach (a block too walk there). The beach wasn’t bustling with activity, that’s the way we wanted it. The sand and water is gorgeous. There was also access to water activities via Charles Water Sports and beverages.

It is a quiet building however you can hear the music the odd night from a local pub (which by the way serves fantastic food that is well priced). You can also buy groceries right across the street (Dover Market) so transportation is not necessary, and the locals are friendly.

The Gap (about 10 min walk) is good for all types of restaurants should you desire not to cook.
The condo's patio we enjoyed the most (spacious) , as it sits semi over looks the sea, you can hear the Ocean, great for having breakfast, lunch, dinner on. There is a private beach out front which can be good for snorkeling, and we did see a turtle.

All in all it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. We rate it a 4.5
Owner's Response: This is a very encouraging review for us, in our first season of operation. We are pleased that the reviewer pointed out all the positives but also mentioned the occasionally noisy pub. Scotties bar is wher the reviewer obtained his fantastic food, I believe, and right next door is the Gap Bar, which has karoke evenings twice a week! Why not join in?

I havent stayed in this apartment. however for many years have stayed at white sands before these apartments were built. It is the most idealic place to stay with the sound of the sea rolling in night and day mmmm perfect.
The night life is within an easy stroll and far enough away for it not to wake any light early sleeper. The people who were around White Sands are very friendly and helpfull. I have stayed there on my own and felt very safe. If you are thinking of going I would highly recommend this area.
