Luxury south facing apartment with stunning views of the Mediterranean just minutes away from beach, racecourse, the mountains and excellent golf courses, lies between Fuengirola and Marbella. The large terrace overlooks magnificent gardens and pool. On some evenings the mountains of North Africa can be seen. La Cala Village, just three minutes away, has an excellent sandy beach, restaurants and shops. Five minutes in the opposite direction is Fuengirola with aqua park, marina, beaches, restaurants, shops and busy nightlife. There are superb golf courses at Chaparral, Mijas and La Cala. Quality shopping in nearby Marbella and Puerto Banus. Other interesting cities within driving distance for day trips are Malaga, Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Skiing in Sierra Nevada just a 3 hour drive away. Picturesque mountain villages such as Mijas and the Roman town of Ronda are nearby and worth visiting. The beach, restaurants, bars and supermarket are just 5 minutes walk away.

Balcones del Chaparal is a short 25 minutes drive from Malaga Airport, just off the coastal highway. Pick up from the airport can be arranged if preferred. Golf courses are adjacent to the apartment complex. The mountains, beach and sea are within walking distance. It lies near LaCala, a small seaside town. Fuengirola is 5 minutes drive away, with newly opened department stores and has restaurants, an aquapark, excellent zoo, cinema, dolphin watching boat trips and mini golf. Malaga has the Picasso Museum and botanical gardens. Marbella has quality shops and restaurants, a lush park and bonsai museum. Boat trips can be taken to the much acclaimed Puerto Banus with its famous marina. The Roman town of Ronda has magnificent views and a bullring. The Alhambra Palace at Granada makes a memorable day trip as do the white villages of Mijas and Casares. Seville,Cordoba, Gibraltar and Nerja Caves make interesting visits. Day trips can be arranged to visit North Africa.

  • Notes to rates:- Based on 2 sharing, Please add £50.00 per person per week for 3 or over.
    20% deposit is required to secure the booking.
    A bond of £200 or 200 Euros is required against damages.
  • Changeover days are negotiable but we would prefer Saturdays /Sundays from 1st July to 31st August. Discounts are available for lets of four weeks or more. A deposit of £150 is required to secure a booking, which also acts as cover fro damages/loss keys etc. Full amount of rental fee is due four weeks before departure with £150 deposit being returned to you within 7 days of your return, providing there has been no damage to the apartment or fixtures and fittings.

Notes: The apartment is finished to a high standard with marble floors throughout. Strictly no smoking or pets. There are outside security doors and the apartment is easily accessible with eight steps to the front door. Inside is all on one level. The terrace has a large table with sun umbrella, four dining chairs and two reclining chairs . Four garden loungers are available for around the pool area. Air Conditioning is available at an extra cost.

Golf:: Amongst the top golf courses within easy reach are Chaparral Golf, La Cala Colf, Mijas Golf, La Quinta, Alhaurin, San Roque, Cabopino. The beautiful local 18 hole golf courses at Chaparal and La Cala are less than 5 minutes away and both have excellent clubhouses and often have special offers.

Shopping:: Marbella the most upmarket town on the costa is only 15 minutes drive away. There is also excellent shopping in Puerto Banus and the boats in the marina are awesome. Fuengirola only five minutes away has many department stores including the famous Cortes Ingles, and also has a variety of places of interest to visit.

Holiday at Balcones del Chaparral.

We have just returned from two weeks in this very pleasant apartment. The balcony overlooks a lovely garden with large attractive swimming pool, both of which are very well maintained. The apartment was spotless and both well equipped and nicely furnished. Barry and Norma who look after the apartment are lovely people and very helpful.
We have been going to this coast for over 30 years and know it well but people who are new to the area would find it easy to get around with many restaurants and a small supermarket close by. I do feel though that you need a car, as life would be a bit restricted without one, though if you just want a rest and stay close to Balcones you could manage without.
