Photos and Description of this Alentejo Litoral holiday house Sleeps 10 to 12 - swimming pool and patio perfect for al fresco dinning!

A typical fisherman's house, recently refurbished. Located in the old center of Vila Nova, a seaside village of Alentejo Coast. In the backyard patio surrounded by fresh green bamboos, there is barbecue and small swimming pool, as well as a modern and white design studio. Ten minutes walk to the beach. Three very good gourmet restaurants and several fair and cheap restaurants around. Fully furnished, linen and towels included. Horseback riding tours, tennis and surf lessons can be arranged.

Casa de Vilanova is located in the delightful old village of Vilanova de Milfontes. Close to the Mira where it meets the Atlantic, Vilanova offers modern amenities alongside quaint old charm. In the heart of a National Park, an area of protected natural beauty, there are miles of unspoilt surfing beaches and picturesque ocean coastline. Adventure activities available: horse riding, canoeing, surfing, hiking. The Mira is renowned as the cleanest river in Europe, gently flowing out to the Atlantic it offers white sandy beaches and fresh water swimming within a 5 min walk. A further 5 mins walk to miles of white sandy ocean beaches. The towns of Cercal, Odemira and Sines offer a wide range of cultural activities. Vilanova itself has a wide choice of good local restaurants, many specializing in seafood from the fish market, a small cinema, supermarkets, range of shops and cafes. Lisbon City and airport only 2 hrs, Faro airport 1.5 hrs.
