holiday with small children

we were 3 families with alltogether 6 children (4 of them age 3 and under), we enjoyed the spacious house and garden, everything was modern, clean and in very good condition (location, facilities, kitchen). the house is extremely cosy with many fire places, has spectacular views to the etna, one can see sun- and moonrise over the sea. the kids enjoyed playing in and outside, we knew them safe with a fenced compound.
the owners were extremely friendly and helpful (met us at the highway to show us up the mountain to the house, supplied us with baby beds, sheets, towels, and gave us good advice for activities).
with the kids we went up the etna in icy winds, swam in the ocean with the sun burning down on us, we visited the ancient grounds of syracusa, but we also enjoyed long sunny breakfasts on the terrace, collecting marroni on nice walks near the house, or just playing in the garden....
we all loved our sunny first week of november and we would all recommend the property to a friend or relative, the place is sooo special and nice, it is meant to be for special and nice people :)
