Photos and Description of this Colares holiday villa Casa da Adraga, in a village with cafés and shops, 15min to Sintra.

This beautiful detached new villa is located on the edge of the village of Almoçageme, 500m from the sea, 15 minutes from either Sintra or Cascais and 35 minutes from Lisbon. It enjoys a beautiful relaxed open view of forest covered hills with the sea in the background. A two minute walk takes you to restaurants, cafés and shops. A ten minute walk takes you to Praia da Adraga beach voted one of the most beautiful in Europe. From the beach there are walks along the coastal protected area with breathtaking views of the cliffs and the sea. The house has a very large living and dinning area opened to a wide veranda with no buildings in front. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 washrooms, 1 belonging to the ensuite bedroom, a full kitchen with eating table, barbecue area, cable TV, wireless internet, table tennis and parking for 3 cars. The view can also be enjoyed from the pool and BBQ area.

Sintra is 15 min away and offers such sites as the National Palace, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace, Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace, Capuchos Convent and many botanical gardens. In Lisbon, 35 min away, one can see the Alfama Moorish area with live 'fado' music, the Bairro Alto quarters and the riverside area of Belem. Cascais night-life and Estoril casino are 12km away.

Thank you for a fabulous holiday. You have been warm and generous hosts, the house is fabulous, the beaches are fantastic (with great surf) and the village is charming. We have enjoyed the local fish restaurants, the regional wines and the children have had a brilliant time. We look forward to visiting again.
