Photos and Description of this Venice city centre holiday apartment 4 beds - cozy and friendly house

Large studio near Ghetto. There is a double bed and two sofa beds so it is very good for a couple (it's quite romantic: there is a wonderful wooden ceiling) and can fit if you have children or if you are travelling with friends. There is a kitchen with a four-burner stove and a microwave. The house is small but very well located: 15 minute walks from place San Marco and nearby the 'vaporetti' for Burano, Murano and Lido. It is only 10 minutes walk from the railway station and by train you can visit Padova (30m.), Vicenza (50m), Verona (1,5 h) and Treviso (30m) It's on ground floor, but of course there are no cars and so it's not noisy. It is not a tourist area and there are several grocer's shops very nearby.

My g/f and myself spent 5 days in Venice at Marco's apartment... like others have said, it is nicely placed out of the way of all the touristy crowds, yet it is still very accessible by the water buses, and because of the small size of the city, it is still easy to get everywhere. The pictures very accurately show what you are getting.
We were met at the Ghetto by Sara who escorted us to the apartment, and then showed us around it a bit. I had been to Venice once before, so getting around was not so bad (it is still easy to get turned around a little). There were restaurants right around, it was easy to find grocery stores as well.
Overall, things went very well, and we thank Marco for providing a great base for us to explore Venice, Murano, and Burano... Thanks Marco!
Would not hesitate to contact him again if we needed a place to stay in Venice.

Great location and everything you need!

My husband and I stayed in Marco's apartment for one week. The location was by far the best attribute! In a quiet residential area, but restaurants, bakeries, grocery, anything, is less than 5 minutes walking distance. There are two Vaporetti stops just blocks from the house, making commuting extremely easy, although we were able to walk everywhere! The apartment was perfect for two people, had a full kitchen which we used daily for preparing meals. Marco was great, and easy to work with, and he is very helpful with information before you arrive! This is definitely the way to go, you get so much more than you would from an average hotel, and you can't beat the savings. We would definately come back and stay here again!!

Hi Marco ,
We had a lovely time in Venice , what a beautiful place ! The flat was really comfortable , and was like a nice retreat after walking around every day ! It was really clean and really well equipped , the location is perfect ( a taste of the proper Venice , we recommend the osterias around !), Christina who met us and took us to the flat , was very nice and helpful . We had a wonderful time !

Dear Marco,

Many thanks for a great stay at your apartment. We loved the quiet location and easy access to the water bus station. Cristina met us at the train station and showed us to the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped and we were able to cook many of our meals during our stay. We would recommend this property and return for a second time.

We stayed in this apartment in two for five days and had a really good time there. It's located in a beautiful area of Venice that's not very crowded by tourists but everything you need you can find nearby: a lot of nice restaurants and bars where you eat and drink well, food shops, baker's etc. When we arrived Cristina met us at the station and brought us to our 'home', she was really nice and we could contact her for every information we needed. We found the flat beautiful, spacious and exceptionally well-equipped. Especially the kitchen contains everything you may desire: if you need a food-basic for cooking or something like a toothpick – only look a bit around, you can be sure to find it! There is a good four-flame gas stove so cooking is comfortable like at home. You also find a large and good choice of informations, literature about Venice, maps and so on. The flat is located in ground floor, in the mornigs there's the sun on the windows - only in the late afternoon it's not very bright and that is the only handicap (but who wants to pass the afternoons at home during a stay at Venice?).There is your own entrance from the street so you have your privacy. We felt very well at this place and would like to come again!
