Brand new luxurious and spacious ground floor air conditioned 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment, set within the Sunset Villas area of the 5 star Vila Sol golf & Spa resort. The resort includes tennis courts, pools and top class restaurants as well as a fantastic Spa offering a full range of relaxing therapies and treatments. For the golfer, the first tee of the 27 hole championship course is only a couple of minutes stroll from the apartment. Guests will benefit from a 30% discount on green fees. For those not golfing, the apartment’s large south facing private terrace is perfect for sun bathing and relaxing. It overlooks the swimming pool and beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens. Vilamoura, with its world class marina and extensive range of restaurants is only a few minutes drive away whilst just outside the resort there is the spectacular Aquashow water park. The beautiful beaches at Vilamoura and Quarteira are also within a few minutes drive.

Vila Sol has its own private beach with free sunbeds and is just a 15 min drive away. It offers beach restaurants, water sports, children’s activities and a crèche facility. Vilamoura beach is only a 5 min drive away. The gentle sloping beach of Quarteira is less than 5 mins drive away and is excellent for young families. A selection of shops and restaurants are located at the entrance to the resort, approximately a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Amenities include supermarket, traditional pub serving food, delicatessen, Barclays bank with ATM plus other various restaurants and shops. For larger supermarkets Apolonia is a well known supermarket situated on the road to Almancil (5 mins from Vila sol) and there are also supermarkets available in Vilamoura and the surrounding area. The Vila Sol Spa is also available to guests to enjoy the wide range of relaxing treatments.

Golf: The apartment is set within the beautiful 27-hole Vila Sol golf course. This Championship course has twice hosted the Portuguese Open. There is a driving range, practice course, golf academy and large golf club including bars, restaurant and pro-golf shop. An owners discount is available for guests using these facilities. Other golf courses include Quinta do Lago 15 mins away, Vale do Lobo 12 mins away, Old Course 5 mins away, Pinhal 5 mins away, Millennium 5 mins away, Victoria 8 mins away, Laguna 8 mins away.

Special Interest: For bird lovers, the Ria Formosa is a protected natural wildlife park within a 20 minute car drive. Here you can see birds on their migrating pathway from Africa to Europe, as they stop to rest and refuel by eating shrill and other indigenous foods needed to enable them to carry on their journey. In summer and autumn thousands of flamingos can be seen as they visit the wetlands at the Ria Formosa.
