Lovingly restored by Award Winning Puglia Estates, this 17th Century 3 bedroom appartment in the Historical Centre of Galatone is a wonderful, magical place to stay. Galat is a slice of real Italy, just 5 minutes drive from the most beautiful beaches with wonderful seafood restaurants. The property boasts a romantic master bedroom with a huge round bed, roll top bath and massive stained glass arched window opening on to a small outside space. Moorish style living room with imposing wooden arches over the open fire place creates a sense of cool tranquillity. Fully equiped kitchen, including juicer to make the most of the wonderful local organic produce. Huge roof terrace has views of the Church and Country. As the street name 'Forno' suggests the village wood burning oven for the bread is a few doors down, but don't forget to order a loaf as the old man doesn't make a loaf over! The locals cant do enough for you and love to help in anyway they can. A very special experience.

Possibly the best apartment I have ever stayed in on a holiday. Beautifully designed and the perfect place to use as a base to explore the glorious region of Puglia. It has a fantastic roof terrace to sit out on for breakfast in the morning, and the bedrooms are exquisitely furnished creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The local people are very friendly and the town of Galatone has some amazing architecture. Very close to the beaches and a visit to nearby Santa Maria Al Bagno for their Seafood Restaurants is well worth the trip. I cannot recommend this fabulous apartment highly enough.

The villa was in perfect condition and i will highly recommend it.
Decorated to the highest possible taste.
Plenty of space, the roof terrace was a bonus.
Nearest beach about 6 kilmetres away so very close and nice places to eat in the village itself.
Nearby shops had friendly staff that were patient with non Italian speakers!

I stayed here with 3 friends in late May and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful accommodation. The description is extremely accurate and I would recommend this to couples, groups of friends and families alike.
Excellent communication with owner - including helpful maps and guides on the area.
In particular, the roof terrace and decor were the most impressive points in an altogether gorgeous holiday property.
Highly recommended.

Best Holiday Hideaway

This apartment has got to be one of the best we have ever stayed in. It has all the home comforts - and many more - and has obviously been lovingly restored by the owner. The real bonus though is the massive patio area on the roof: here you can enjoy coffee in the morning, watch the sun come up and plan your trip to the many nearby beaches or kick back with a beer in the evening and watch the sun go down over quiet Galatone. It really is a perfect spot.
