Ski Services:
If you are coming to Haus Ashling for ski-ing we want you to enjoy and have a stress free holiday. When you arrive we will arrange Ski School, either group lessons or private lessons. If you wish to rent skis or snowboards and boots we have an arrangement with one of the local ski hire shops for our guests to receive a 10% reduction. If you are coming with young children, 2 children aged 10 years and younger will get free skis, boots and helmets, providing 2 adults are renting skis and boots.
We are one of the few places in Zell am See where you can 'Ski Out - Ski Home' and still only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the restaurants, bars, town centre and the lake.
Summer Holidays:
If you are coming to Haus Ashling in the summer we would like you to enjoy everything which is good in this area. It is a very special place and wonderful for families, couples and single people. Sometimes you can be woken in the morning by the bells from the cows grazing beside Haus Ashling. If you are feeling energetic you can go for an early morning stroll, even a jog around the lake or perhaps a energising swim in the refreshing clean mountain water which flows into the lake. If you would like to rent bicycles we can arrange this for you in one of the locak sport shops.
Ski:
In glittering white powder snow
Beginners on skis or carving pros - all winter sports fans will simply feel spoilt by 138 kilometres of downhill runs, spread out over 57 different pistes. The easy ones, marked in blue, are especially suitable for beginners. People who like it more active choose from 49 kilometres of red runs or opt for the slopes of the black category which are really hard to master. You have only just begun skiing? Our instructors can give you some valuable tips.
You are aiming for the top? In that case, the three snow parks on Kitzsteinhorn are the place to go. The half-pipe with a height of three and a half metres is only one of many highlights in Mellow Park with its 30,000 square metres of ground. Daring stunts are nothing out of the ordinary here. After all, winter sports enthusiasts have lots of time to practise since the sparkling white snow is a permanent state of affairs up here. Even in the summer months you can enjoy pristine snow galore.
