The Place: Nessebar is a 7th century fishing village and is one of the undoubted jewels of Bulgaria's Black Sea coast.Its abundance of historic buildings prompted UNESCO to include Nessebar in its list of World Heritage Sites in 1983 and it is a town steeped in history. This quaint old town with its cobbled streets and wooden houses is an ideal place to hunt for souvenirs in the many gift shops or enjoy great value appetising cuisine in one of the many harbour-front restaurants.

Nessebar's livelier neighbour, Sunny Beach, with its vibrant night life, is just a very short bus ride away or for the more romantic there is a regular water taxi or fun train for the children. Many water sports are offered at Sunny Beach including para-gliding, jet-skis and banana boat.

There is an excellent local bus service to both Bourgas and Sunny Beach with several bus stops a short walk in either direction from the apartment. The central bus stop is at Old Nessebar with buses running every 20 minute. There is also an abundance of taxi's with a taxi rank located at Old Nessebar.
