This light and airy apartment has a restful ambiance and is beautifully furnished to complement its coastal surroundings. With sea views from living area, and both bedrooms, you will never tire of the ever changing colours of the sea and sky in Carbis Bay. The large open plan living area has wonderful views but for those of us who need access to more modern entertainment, there is a 32' flat screen TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii, free wireless broadband, remote control mood lighting and a Bose Ipod dock. On a summer evening it's difficult to beat a relaxing hour before dinner watching the sun set over St Ives from the balcony with a chilled glass of wine as the day draws to a close. The kitchen has contemporary high quality German kitchen units with soft close drawers and doors an. Appliances are by NEFF appliances. There are two double bedrooms, both with sea views, one of which is en suite, also a family bathroom. A cot and high chair are provided for younger guests.

Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided for each guest. There is a large mirrored bathroom cabinet with shaving point. The en-suite to the master bedroom has an Italian style wash basin, w.c and shower enclosure with power shower. The room is tiled with sandstone ceramics and there is a superb feature wall.

  • The master bedroom has stunning views of the bay through the floor-to-ceiling three sided glass bay window. Pull up the luxurious Roman blinds and have a lie in watching the bay with your early morning cup of tea or curl up in the white leather swivel chair for a some peace and quiet with a morning coffee and a good book. The master bedroom is equipped with a fitted wardrobe and contemporary oak bed and bedside units. Towels and hair-dryer are provided and the beds are freshly made for your arrival. The second bedroom of White Sails has a comfortable double bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside cabinets, dressing table with mirror. This bedroom is also on the seaward side of the apartment with sea views. An LCD TV is provided for guests together with a hair dryer. It is the second bedroom that enjoys the comforts of an en-suite, this is a beautifully sandstone tiled bathroom with contemporary fittings. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided for each guest.

Notes: The large open plan living area has wonderful views across the bay towards St Ives but the owners have also provided for those of us who need access to more modern entertainments with 32' flat screen TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii, free wireless broadband, remote control mood lighting and a Bose Ipod dock. There are two colour coordinated settees one of which may be used as a sofa-bed for additional guests. But, on a summer evening it's difficult to beat a relaxing hour before dinner spent watching the ever changing colours of the sea and sky from the balcony whilst looking out across the bay with a chilled glass of wine as the day draws to a close. The dining area of White Sails is part of the open plan living accommodation and is adjacent to the kitchen. A large glass dining table and 4 chairs are provided for guests, from here you can still enjoy the views across St Ives Bay and together with the fitted mood lighting, a relaxing ambience can be created.

Beautiful, light, clean, superb, luxury, the best!

I'm not from England, so I appologize for my English. This appartment is very, very good. You can park your car behind an alectric fence, the view is beautiful, the property is very clean, the bathrooms and the kitchen are really well equiped. We came with our three boys (4,5, 3 and 7 months old and we had a wonderful time. The beach is nearby and beautiful. Not so crowdy, so the children had more than enough space. The path to St Yves was so beautiful (you do must have a drink at the big hotel, forgot the name, near the beach in Carbis bay and then walk further) that our sons would like to do the same walk the next day. I definitely recommend this appartment.

Great coastal setting and picture perfect views

I just wanted to share with everyone what a super apartment this is, we booked through a different site last year and now I have spotted it on here. We had a great holiday, Carbis Bay has a lovely beach and is a bit quieter than being based in St. Ives but it so close that it only cost £1.00 each way to go on the train or £5.00 in a taxi. There is also a really beautiful walk on the coastal path which has amazing views and is a definite “must”.

The apartment was newly built so has the latest designs in kitchen and bathrooms and it is furnished to give a real seaside feel. The sea views from the main bedroom and the living area are amazing, I did not want to get out of bed in the morning! We had really good weather for our stay so we were able to use the balcony a lot, and on the evenings we chose not to eat out at all the seafood restaurants nearby, I cooked for the family and we played on the Nintendo Wii. Great fun!! I would highly recommend this apartment.
