Werganrose Farm is a beautiful, large farmhouse, set in 35 acres of natural forest, pasture land & flower meadow. The house dates back to the 17Th Century, in the last 7 years, it been expanded & modernised into a comfortable and spacious abode, sleeping 12 to 20 persons. There has been an official private nature reserve at the farm for some years and access to this 10 acre site is available to guests. The reserve is comprised of forest, a two-acre secluded pleasure, lake, fully stocked with Carp, and a wet flower meadow with many rare species, including orchids. The site is teeming with wildlife making it an ideal destination for birdwatchers, anglers and nature lovers. It is situated just inside the Gower Peninsula with its many and famous beaches, the most renowned of these being Three Cliffs Bay, which is 5 minute drive from the property. There are 4 Golf Courses within 10 minutes of the farm.

Great venue for party or reunion

We rented this property for a week-end in November to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday with friends and had a wonderful time. The house is very tastefully decorated inside and very spacious. There is a large dining area which comfortably seated 16 people for a celebration meal on the Saturday night. The owners also supplied the catering which was of very good quality & this greatly simplified the arrangements. Nearby beaches at Rhossili Bay & Oxwich Bay definitely worth a visit.

The house that has everything

We stayed at this house at the end of September for my 30th birthday and had an amazing time. Its got everything you could possibly want; the owners are lovely, the house is amazing (spacious bedrooms, huge living area downstairs, a great kitchen, bbq, beautiful outdoor space, sky plus), the lake and grounds are beautiful, the gower beaches are right on your doorstop and swansea is also not too far away for shops,clubs and other amenities, the catering was great (we had a meal at the house on one of the nights we stayed), the list goes on... Can't recommend this house enough. We'll definitely be going back.

Great party venue

We went to a friend's 40th birthday party at Werganrose, which they hired for the the weekend, what a stunning location, the house is very spacious and well equiped, the surrounding land is beautiful and unspoilt and the lake is the jewel in the crown, a real hidden treasure. The owners were very friendly and helpful, I would definately go there again and can't recommend it enough. It's perfect for a special occassion or get together with the whole family, or if a group of you want to go on holiday. It's location is at the gateway to both North and South Gower, which is a must if visiting Swansea.

Beautiful property and surrounding area

I stayed here with 16 friends in July, and cannot fault it at all. The house was beautiful and we especially loved the lake, which was great fun with the rowing boat. The owners were lovely and very helpful, recommending the best beaches to go to. Would recommend this house to anyone, and will definitely be back next year.

Beautiful farm

I stayed with a group of friends end of May and cannot recommend the farm enough. The pictures simply do not do the farm or the accommodation justice. The owners who live nearby are very helpful could not do enough to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The Gower and beaches are beautiful. Highly recommend!
