On the first floor with picturesque views across the valley (not overlooking other blocks), it is beautifully finished with all amenities close by. The apartment is situated just 600m from a Blue Flag beach with a superb Chiringuito (beach bar/ restaurant). There are 6 golf courses nearby, 2 within walking distance as is Finca Cortesin, the new home of the World Match Play Championhship. The Port of Duquesa with its marina, bars, restaurants and shopping is a short drive away with Estepona (shops, water and safari parks) about 5km away. Drive a little further to Gibraltar for tax free shopping or take a ferry from Tarifa (ace windsurfing) to Tangiers for the day. The famous white village of Casares (the most photographed in Spain)with breathtaking views is about 10 minutes' drive. Casares del Sol is beautifully placed, with around 320 days of sun/year, to take advantage of the best of the Costa del Sol - a little away from the hustle and bustle, closer to the authentic Spanish experience but still close to shops, bars, restaurants and all the main attractions including Estepona, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Selwo Wild Animal Park.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are in £GBP based on one week's stay. Weekends and shorter breaks are possible with a minimum of 3 nights. Contact us for more details. Prices do not include cleaning and laundry - please contact us for details.
    A £100GBP deposit per week is required on booking, payable by cheque or Pay Pal (please contact us for details). Balance is due 5 weeks prior to departure. If we do not receive the full balance by the time stipulated, this will be seen as a cancellation with the full booking cost liable to the Booker. If you cancel your holiday not less than 5 weeks before you will only forfeit the deposit.
  • A deposit of £150 will be added to your balance payment, refundable within 2 weeks subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.
    Please arrive between 3pm and 7pm in order to allow time to prepare the apartment for your arrival. Please vacate the apartment by 11am on departure day.
    Our managing agent will have the keys to the apartment and they will be on hand to assist you during your stay.

The apartment was very nice and exactly as advertised. It was very close to the beach and a great location for day trips to Gibraltar, the White Towns, and Marbella. The pools on the property were great. I would recommend having a car, as it is outside a major city. However, there is a taxi stand close by, as well as a bus stop, which is convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

A very nice quiet, clean 2 bedroom apartment with a great pool and away from the main road with all the traffic and noise. Central air conditioning was great, one day it was 46 deg C. A car is a must, closest shops are about a mile away. Locally there is a nice small beach and Porto La Duquesa (hope I spelt that right) is a very nice port with a wide selection of restaurants and some nice boats as well. Estepona is a 10 minute drive one way and Gibraltar 35 minutes the other way. Lots of Golf around the area.
