Sand Cottage is a single storey cottage built around 1860 and now renovated and refurbished to the highest standard. It is set in the seaside village of maidens on the beautiful Ayrshire coast.The cottage has 3 double bedrooms and can sleep 6 people. It has a fully fitted kitchen with all facilities , a lounge and separate conservatory / dining area which has beautiful uninterrupted views to the Isle of Arran and Culzean Country Park. It is located 1 mile away from the world famous Turnberry Golf Course and Resort. Outside there is a decking area for barbecues and to enjoy the magnificent sunsets. Parking for 2 cars with additional parking at close hand. Hair driers, bed linen, towels, toiletries and bathrobes are supplied in each bedroom. Washing powder dishwasher tablets etc are all supplied. Welcome pack with milk, bread, tea, coffee, orange juice and other surprises. Small book, CD, DVD and video library along with a selection of games.

Maidens is a small village on the beautiful Ayrshire coast. It is 1 mile from the world famous Turnberry Hotel Golf Course and Resort where the 2009 Open Championship will be played. Culzean Castle and Country Park one of Scotland finest National Trust visitor attractions. The nearest airport is Prestwick International airport which is a 20 minute drive away. Glasgow International airport is a 60 minute drive away. Sand Cottage is located on the beach and is a popular place for walks and horse riding. There are a number of excellent restaurants locally and Wilding in the village has an excellent reputation for fine dining. There are over 15 golf courses within a short drive including Prestwick and Royal Troon. Ayr is the nearest main town for shopping and Ayrshire is the birthplace of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns, the Robert Burns National Heritage Park is a short drive away.
