The house is a three bedroom semi, on the exclusive area of Dona Pepa, Quesada. It is air conditioned and has ceiling fans fitted to all 3 bedrooms. Furnished to a high standard throughout, makes it ideal for family holidays. It has attractive private gardens to the front, side and rear of the property. The frontal aspect of the house includes a shaded front porch with patio table and chairs provided. The rear of the property has a barbeque area with patio table & chairs and 4 sun-beds. The community gardens are private, gated and has a large swimming pool & childrens pool. The house is approx 30 mins from Alicante or Murcia airports. Quesada is an ideal base to explore many attractions in the area, including horse riding, mini golf course, a 5 mins drive to La Marquesa Golf Club & Aqua Park. Nearest beaches are La Mata & Guardamar, 10 mins by car. Terra Mitica theme park is 1hr Dr. Making it an ideal family location for sun, sea, golf, watersports or relaxing.

Along the coastal road North of Guardamar lies the fishing port/ marina of Santa Pola, with boat excursions to the island of Taberca with its underwater nature reserve. Larger towns such a Elche, and the cities of Alicante/ Murcia are within easy reach for shopping or exploring. There are numerous fiestas throughout the year and daily street markets located around the area. The old Spanish town of Guardamar is 10 minutes drive and has excellent sporting facilities for windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, scuba diving and jet-skiing etc at the Marina's nautical club. There is an outstanding sports complex for tennis, basketball, football etc and an Olympic swimming pool. Guardamar boasts 11 kms of dunes and sandy beaches and the enormous 'Queen Sofia' Park to enjoy a quiet stroll through it's botanical gardens. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, but it still retains a typical Spanish air and is a very popular holiday resort.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are per week/day not per person. Regardless of length of stay there is a 70 Euros charge for cleaning to be paid directly to the housekeeper on arrival. PLEASE NOTE: RENTAL RATES ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF MEET AND GREET SERVICE, USE OF AIR CONDITIONING, BED LINEN & TOWELS.
    A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable on booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks before the arrival date. A £100 key/damage deposit is required along with the balance and will be refunded after satisfactory inspection of the house within 2 weeks of departure. Please report any damage to the housekeeper, or small breakages can be replaced with similar items e.g. crockery/glasses.
  • LONG TERM RENTAL is available for those waiting to own Spanish property or wishing to escape from our British winters. SHORT TERM RENTAL (less than one week) is also available for property inspection trips/mini breaks etc.

    Bookings are available anytime of the week to take full advantage of cheaper flights but during the main holiday periods SAT/SAT is preferred. We are open to negotiation though as we aim to please at all times.

    Wherever possible flexible arrival & departure times are agreed as long as our housekeepers are able to clean the house in time, ready for next arrivals.
  • Welcome packs, pick up-drop off to airport, beach, markets etc. can all be arranged, payment for this would be made locally.

  • The main bedroom is situated on the frontal aspect of property upstairs, with air-con unit & ceiling fan fitted. This leads directly onto a balcony area which has a table & 2 chairs provided. The rear bedroom upstairs also has a balcony leading off it with table & 2 chairs provided. A ceiling fan is fitted and has lovely views over the well maintained community gardens and pools. The 3rd bedroom is situated downstairs at the rear, with a ceiling fan fitted. It has lovely views of the community gardens. This is ideal for persons who prefer not to use the stairs. It has easy access to the downstairs toilet & shower room which is all on one level.

Notes: The property has one step to negotiate from the frontal aspect of the house and there is a separate downstairs toilet/shower room and bedroom with two single beds. This makes it accessible for the elderly or infirm because everything required is on this level but the rear door to the property does have 3/4 steps to negotiate. However, there is a side garden which enables easy access to the back garden. Due to the width of the doorways wheelchairs unfortunately would be restrictive for indoor use. No smoking indoors, only outside please.

This property is on a very friendly site,and we were made to feel welcome by those that live there. The property is well maintained, and sleeps six people comfortably. You can also make use of the double bed settee, as we did, and therefore sleep eight. The dining table is capable of seating 6/8 people, although six is preferable.The swimming pool is adequate, and the outside area is roomy.
The owners Carol & John were very helpful, if we needed to contact them, as were the housekeepers Tina & Brian.
The beach at Guadamar has lovely sands, although you would be advised to hire a car to get to it. Quesada has quite a few bars & Banks but it is a good 20 minute walk away. There are three Supermarkets nearer to home, about 10-12 minutes walk away.
We have just spent three weeks there, returning home on August 31st, and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there. The weather was perfect and people friendly. We would reccommend this property.
