This charming trullo with lamia annex and plunge pool is full of traditional character. Set in a tranquil location in the Itria Valley close to the Medieval Italian town of Ceglie Messapica and a short drive from the historic towns of Martina Franca, Cisternino and the 'White City' of Ostuni. Set amongst almond and fruit trees and accessed via a driveway lined with rosemary bushes, guests can help themselves to any available produce in season. With 2 self contained units each sleeping up to 3/4 people, it is ideal for friends holidaying together but who like their own facilities, two families with children or for grandparents who may wish join a family holiday but like to have the option to retreat for a rest once in a while. Outdoor living is a fundamental pleasure in this part of the world and the large terrace with dining table and chairs makes it ideal for enjoying breakfast before the heat of the day, or to socialise later in the day with a BBQ and local fresh produce.

Trullo Rosmarino is ideally placed for exploring the Puglia area, with its medieval towns, beaches and ancient olive groves. Nearest towns are Ceglie Messapica 5km, Martina Franca 8km, Cisternino 18km, Ostuni 15km, Alberobello (World Heritage Site) 40km. For days out, check out the spectacular caves at Castellana Grotte or the Zoo safari and fun park at Fasano. Most local towns have an old town which have charming central squares, cobbled streets and a wealth of beautiful architecture. Lecce around an hour and a half away is known as the Florence of the South. The property is almost equidistant from both the Adriatic and Ionian beaches and if golf is your game, there are two golf courses at Fasano.

We started off our journey at Naples and drove to Puglie, to find this beautiful Trullo in a unque setting. Our friends stayed in the Lamia opposite which gave us independant living with a truly traditional feel of rural Italy.
The accomodation was excellent and fully equipped!
