Manilva is a traditional village located in the hills behind Puerto Duquesa, an area that has always been dedicated to fishing and wine production giving rise to the “mosto” wine which is famous in the region. Today Manilva and Puerto Duquesa has been transformed into one of the most beautiful touristic locations on the Costa del Sol without losing any of the traditional charm. Once a week Sabinillas opens up it's fantastic market. A treat for everyone. Throughout the year the local area comes alive with it's famous festivals. Kids love the beachside play area! Just a short drive away are the famous waterpark, safari, endless blue flag beaches, tennis and much more. Estepona is about 10 min drive and has a marina with local restaurants. Estopona is a typically Spanish seaside resort with pedestrian streets and squares. About 10 mins inland from Estepona lies the picturesque white hill village of Casares. Impressive views and easy to explore.

Ronda is a must - about an hours drive along a very memorable road! Easy to eplore the bull-ring and great views of the gorge. Within easy driving distance, we have the airports of Malaga (1 hour), Gibraltar (20 minutes) and Jerez (just over 1 hour). Fashionable Puerto Banús and Marbella are 20 minutes drive. Malaga's exceptionally well served airport is about 50 minutes via the splendid Mediterranean motorway and Gibraltar about 20 minutes. Other places of interest within easy striking distance include: Ronda, Benahavís, Mijas, and many of 'the white villages'. Within a couple of hours are the historic cities of Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba and Granada and the snow ski resort of the Sierra Nevada. less than 2 hours drive away.
