Haute-Nendaz holiday apartment

This lovely chalet more than lived up to its billing. Nothing had prepared us for the just fantastic views from the main bedroom and from the lounge (so everyone could appreciate it). We were no more than 300 metres from the telecabine (open at 0845 hrs) that took us up to a very active ski area that provided sufficient challenge for the moderate skiers in the party. More challenging and greater variety of slopes were available by linking lifts and slopes to the next village, or, for the impatient, there was a regular half hourly free ski bus. Ski passes worked out at about £30 per person per day. After a hard days skiing it was a joy to come back to a warm, comfortable, well appointed flat, which had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. The local village has a good selection of restaurants - the nearest virtually across the road, close to the ski hire shop.
The flat was exceptionally clean, a slight surprise as the owner had said that each party was responsible for cleaning at the end of the holiday. That set the standard for our own cleaning efforts!

What would I change? Spend more time there!
