Mulberry Cottage combines the splendour of traditional Cretan architecture with 21st century style. The gardens and swimming pool offer privacy and tranquillity and the shady terraces make outdoor dining a must. The ground floor consists of a fully fitted kitchen and a bright and airy dining room, an original stone archway leads through to the sitting room, complete with a log burner for early/late season holidays.Another archway leads to a lobby where there is a Broadband Connection should you wish to bring your laptop and a selection of books and children’s games. A Double bedroom with four poster bed leads off the study with access to its own pool facing terrace. A separate shower room, WC and washing machine is on the ground floor.A wooden staircase from the sitting room leads to a further 2 bedrooms, one Twin room and the Double Master bedroom. The Master bedroom is en suite and has its own balcony to enjoy the countryside views.The centre of the village is 800m away.

From Mulberry Cottage its a 10 min walk to village centre. You will find the lovely sandy beaches of Kalyves & Almirida within a 15 minute drive. Situated an equal distance between Chania and Rethymnon, our cottages provide an ideal base to explore west Crete. Some interesting days out to include Samaria Gorge for keen walkers and Elafonisi beach in south west Crete for beach lovers.
