This newly refurbished apartment is in perfect condition and has a large terrace complete with olive tree and sea view. Located in a small, exclusive complex, it offers a fully equipped bedroom, bathroom, living room/eat in kitchen and huge outdoor terrace with views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. Secure parking is also available. It is within easy walking distance of many beaches, as well as the villages of St Jean, Beaulieu and Villefranche and it is only a short train journey to Monaco and Nice.

Cap Ferrat is one of the most charming areas of the Riviera managing to be both sophisticated and unspoilt. It offers wonderful coastal walks, swimming in clear waters, elegant beach dining, proximity to fabulous shopping and restaurants as well as proximity to art galleries and museums. The coastal train provides access to the whole Mediterranean Coast west to Marseilles and east to Italy but the immediate environ is so full of fabulous historic villas, beaches, cafes and markets that one does not need to go very far at all.

Notes: The outside terrace has two large banquettes suitable for relaxing and sunbathing. There is an outdoor dining table for two and a huge, electric awning which gives shade. The car park is secure and there is direct access to the building from the garage. Daily cleaning can be arranged if needed. There is a very contemporary Poggenpohl kitchen and dining area in the apartment. The whole apartment has reverse cycle air-conditioning as well as underfloor heating. The living area is stylish and comfortable with cable TV and lovely views of the sea. It is all brand new and very clean. It is an easy walk to Beaulieu (10 mins), Villefranche (20mins) and St Jean (15) along a lovely coastal path - all these places have beaches and restaurants and ports. Train stations are at Beaulieu and Villefranche and the train east to Italy (30 mins) and west to St Tropez (45 mins).

St Jean is an area of enormous natural beauty, it is very desirable but retains a village like atmosphere and charm. The apartment has a sunny outlook, is tastefully appointed and is in a great location. It is 30 mins from Nice airport.

We stayed in this beautiful, quiet place for 1 month in August'08 and loved every minute of it! The apartment had been totally and expensively refurbished prior to our stay and it was just a joy to vacation there.
There are stunning sea views from every window and from the huge terrace and the location right on the Cap is fantastic, as we could easily walk down to the beach or to the village of St Jean for breakfast and some shopping. We are delighted to have discovered this gem of a place and would strongly recommend it. The owners are delightful and the housekeeper is superb.

A Jewel In Le Cap

I couldn't resist writing a review.

What a fabulous little jewel... and it's set within prime position on the French Riviera crown.

And next time, I'd reconsider car hire. We never used it for the two weeks that we were there. We stepped out of the front door and turned right for a Michelin Star dinner under the stars at Le Cap OR left for frothy latte's on the market square. But on those days where the only way was straight ahead, we would stock up on Vanity Fair's and Conde Nast Travellers and head straight for the beach. That's 1 minute in flip flops or 2 in Jimmy Choo's.

The apartment has everything (it's the first time that we've rented an apartment with Bisazza tiles). Sadly the sea bass served in a copper pan at African Queen prevented me from cooking and the sun that set on the super yachts held us back from watching TV.

We're going back again this year. It's just that I need to solve a few things in my mind. For example: "How did they get that sky so blue?"
