The apartment is in historic centre of Rome where you can walk and see the city without car or bus. The building is dated 1700 and was renovated inside and out in 2008. It 'a nice apartment that gives you the opportunity to visit 'The Eternal City' across on foot, because it is located in the heart of the historic centre of Rome. Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Via del Corso, Piazza del Popolo, Campo de Fiori, Colosseo, Piazza Venezia, the Vatican, S. Peter, You can visit all these places walking, because they are all very near the apartment. (max 10 minutes walking)

From here you can visit the most important churches, monuments and most famous squares best! The most important shops of Rome, the restaurants, the narrow streets of the city are all nearby. This is the best way to visit Rome.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for all the sites and is located around the corner from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. We walked everywhere as everything was within walking distance. Take some good walking shoes or boots as your feet will hurt from the cobbled streets. Plus the apartment is four floors up.

The bed in the apartment was very comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes.

We felt very safe in the area and the locks to the doors are very secure. There is an amazing restaurant called Il Baccare less than a minute away - turn left out of the front door and then left again - allow £50 a head though.

Luca and his wife were very helpful explaining how the heating system and the gas hob in the kitchen worked (keep the knob pressed down and press the ignition to light). Also note the shower permits enough hot water for one long hot shower or two short quick hot showers. The boilers in Rome must be small - it does heat up again after about an hour though. Luca kindly arranged for a bottle of prosecco on arrival.

We were surprised that there was not a kettle in the kitchen but it really wasn't a big deal.

Overall the apartment is very nice, clean, modern and perfect for a quick and romantic stay in Rome. We would probably stay again if we return to Rome.

I found the apartment to be a good value and have an excellent location. The owner was quite helpful in the arrangements for both the apartment and a car service pick up from the airport. The apartment is a 4 story walkup so it is not recommended for those with mobility issues. I would definitely recommend the apartment to friends. One note I will add is to choose your travel partner wisely; its not much fun to spend every night in a small apartment with someone who has decided to emotionally checkout from a long standing friendship. But I loved the apartment for the price!
