Situated just minutes from Almunecar center and set within rural surroundings of the barranco de las golondrinas (valley of the swallows) lies this delightful Spanish cortijo with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and also surrounded by idyllic and tranquil scenery. The three large garden terraces of the cortijo has a variation of tropical fruit and avocado trees. Outside the cortijo offers open dining with bbq area, large sun terrace and a pool shared only with the owner on occasions.Inside consists of a two bed, two bathroom (1en suite) open plan living with gas log burner and accommodates all your modern day home comforts.

Almunecar is on the Costa del Sol between Nerja and Salobrena.It has a subtropical climate and lies in the province of Granada. Almunecar has become one of the most popular tourist towns of Granada and the section of coastline is known as the Costa Tropical.The town provides you with many bars,shops,fish or meat restaurants,beaches and historical sights.If you want to travel further afield then a visit to the Alhambra Palace is highly recommended less than 1 hours drive to Granada.Ski-ing is also an option and season usually begins from October to March.So whatever your hobby from cycling,walking,fishing,history,shopping or just relaxation then Almunecar is the place to visit.

We found the property to be exactly as described, beautiful views which we never tired of seeing, very clean and with all the facilities we required to relax and have fun. The owners were brilliant, giving us a warm welcome and were on hand if we needed information or advice. The pool and the pool table were a real bonus and meant that a day spent relaxing around the house was never boring.
Almuñécar is a lovely town with a good family holiday atmosphere, we felt very at ease adopting the Spanish timetable and staying out late with our son.
Granada and the caves at Nerja were two definite highlights of the holiday and the good road system meant that places were easy to reach.
We would not hesitate to recommend this casita to friends and family.

We had a terrific holiday here. The owners, Pete and Sharon, couldn't have been any more helpful and were always on hand if we needed anything and were great for recommending things to do and the best routes to get to places.

It's a great location for exploring (we'd really recommend the Nerja Caves) and a beautiful, really well kitted-out Casita, minutes from the beach and water park (which is brilliant). Almunecar is a lovely place to chill out over coffee, stroll around, sightsee and, of course, shop (the market on Fridays provided us with much fun!).

The pool was a real bonus and used every day by us; great for cooling off during the day and relaxing in the evenings when the water was pleasantly warmed by the sun. The pool has lights, so we even swam late into the night from time to time.

Would heartily recommend this casita.

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our holiday, staying in the Casita (which was very clean & tidy), with magnificent views & amenities, (don't forget your bonoculars if you enjoy bird spotting).

Our welcome pack was very much appreciated. The owners are very friendly people and most obliging.

We had full use of the pool, day and night (looks lovely all lit up too)!

Almunecar has lots to offer for families & couples & lots to see in the surrounding areas, excellent tapas bars!!!!! We found it friendly and relaxing and easily got by without too many language barriers. Beach sunbeds and parasol were quite reasonabe to hire per day also.

I would highly recommend this holiday Casita and location to my family & friends and happily return for holiday.
