A brand new, sunny two bedroom apartment, located just below the little town of Perledo, just two minutes drive up the hill from Varenna. There are magnificent panoramic views from the balcony. The apartment offers all the comforts you are looking for and is elegantly furnished throughout. There are two bedrooms, a master king size bedroom, and 2ND bedroom with sofa bed, converting into 2 singles or a kingsize bed, and a further kingsize sofa bed in the living room. There is an open plan, fully equipped kitchen and living area with flat screen TV with DVD player and IPOD dock. From the living room and balcony, you can enjoy dining 'al fresco', sunbathe or simply admire the breathtaking views & the beautiful evening sunsets.

This area of the lake is referred to as the 'Golden Triangle' (the area of water stretching between the famous towns of Bellagio, Menaggio & Varenna). These three towns, plus the fourth town of Cadenabbia, are the only towns that support car ferries that criss-cross the lake between these destinations. The main train station serving Milan is a 3 minute drive away. There is a pebble beach a 15 min. drive away in Lierna and a sandy 'Lido' in Varenna itself and also a larger beach in Bellano. Varenna may be the most picturesque town on the lake, and features steep winding alleys lined with charming homes with flowering balconies.

  • There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
  • 3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff
  • There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price

Varenna - Get Away from it all!: Varenna is the place to get away from it all, but also be in touch with the rest of the Lake. For the romantics, the historians or for those who love peace, tranquillity and a history that goes back thousands of years this is the place.Varenna is an ancient fishing village with close to 1000 residents spread along a steep hillside overlooking Lake Como. The first evidence of Varenna existence dates back to 493. After the nearby island of Comancina was destroyed the population increased and flourished. The warring factions, as with much of Lombardy saw Varenna at odds with Como on many occasions and the rule of Varenna pass in typical Italian family tradition from the Visconti family to the Sfondrati's. Today Varenna is a lovely spot to chill out, although be aware that shops and even restaurants have been known to shut for lunch, so expect the better things in life to take longer.
