All amenities in Limoux, a charming and picturesque town with a large square surrounded with arcades where you can enjoy a drink or a meal in the numerous cafés and restaurants. Limoux is famous for its sparkling wine and its Carnival, the longest in the world. Cultural Activities: Visite of the City of Carcassonne, magnificent walled city with double fortifications and 52 towers. Amazing fireworks spectacle on July 14th, Carcassonne Cultural Festival in July and medieval spectacles in August. Visite of the abbeys of Fontfroide and St Hilaire and the ancient cathar castles.
