Situated in the centre of the Cotswolds town of Nailsworth this bright first floor apartment is contained within a late 19th Century fronted, much older Listed Building. The best bits of a hotel room mixed with the freedom of self-catering. The open plan apartment has a sleeping area with double bed, window seats and incorporates a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, and washing machine. There is a separate shower room. Bed and breakfast is available catering for vegetarians and vegans if required. There are two outstanding restaurants within 100 yards and a wide choice of other catering facilities within easy walking distance. In each direction and also within a couple of minutes walking distance are two pubs including one with its own brewery, brewing four acclaimed beers. An unspoiled and relatively undiscovered area with the country homes of royalty, artists and the rich & famous. Lots to do and see in idyllic surroundings. ** 2nd Apartment available Sept 09. **

Nailsworth is a thriving small town in the south Cotswolds located 4 miles south of Stroud in one of its five valleys (Laurie Lee country). Before the Industrial Revolution it was an important wool manufacturing area and there are numerous old water-powered mills along the valleys. The area offers stunning scenery and wonderful walks. Nailsworth has a wide variety of individual shops, galleries, regular farmers’ and craft markets. Just off the A46 which gives easy access to the Regency towns of Bath to the south, Cheltenham to the north, it is an ideal base from which to explore the delightful countryside. Roman Cirencester is 9 miles away. The world-famous Westonbirt Arboretum is a few miles drive away with marvellous scenery and open-air concerts in Summer. Three polo grounds are within 10 miles, including Cirencester Park which hosts top rate matches. Gatcombe Park and Badminton Horse Trials are held locally. Prince Charles' Highgrove shop is always worth a visit.
