Set in a quiet neighbourhood of the seaside village of Postira Villa Palma is an ideal holiday home for the guest seeking tranquillity and privacy. The 3 bedroom house is surrounded on 3 sides by a rustic Dalmatian garden and has 2 large terraces for outdoor eating and sunbathing. On the ground floor the house comprises one double and one twin bedroom, shower room and living/dining room with full kitchen. Accessed via outdoor stairs on the first floor is a bedroom, shower room and kitchenette. The large terrace on the first floor has lovely sea views. The house is in a second row from the road and the access is through an alleyway, the main road has enough space to park the car, around 50 meters from the house. Postira is a beautiful and unspoilt fishing village on the north side of the island of Brac. The village enjoys 5 restaurants and a number of bars all of which thrive in the summer months though are never noisy. The closest beach is only 150 meters with a great bar/cafe.

Postira is a small town situated in the northern part of the island, 12km from Supetar where the car ferries arrive. The well indented shoreline with its numerous bays makes it very attractive to tourists and locals alike. The beaches are mostly pebbles though the nearby sandy beach of Lovrecina Bay is just 2km away and makes for a great day out with its beach cafe/ restaurant. Postira has an old core in the centre with mosaic tiled streets, narrow lanes, up hills and down hills, detached old houses and hidden gateways.... Pleasure boats go from here to the Cetina River on the mainland for rafting excursions, a very enjoyable day out

No matter if you are arriving by car or by aeroplane, you need to reach the city of Split on the Adriatic coast. When you arrive in Split, head to Split ferry port from where there are frequent car ferries to Brac island, town of Supetar. The ferry company's name is JADROLINIJA and their offices for ferry ticket purchase are at the terminal. The ferry ticket price in one direction is approx. 30 € for a car and the driver, any extra person ticket is approx. 5€. When in Supetar, you will be greeted in the Brac island office of Dalmatian Property Management. After making the reservation of a property for your holiday, you will receive a direction sheet with photos on how to find the office.

Dalmatian Property Management office in Supetar will supply photo directions on how to get to the property, the keys of the property and all information’s about region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. In a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help and at your service throughout your stay in one of the properties we manage.

The house is nice and the roof attach room-apartment is nice idea. Pitty that they are not connected.
The place is tranquil and nice, but far away from the town and the beach and then to make it worse you have to climb. There is no possibility to get to the house be car. the little path to the house looks and feels much abandon and at night it is very dark.
Owner's Response: We are happy the guest liked the house but are confused at their impressions of its location - the beach is just 150m away (a 3 minutes walk) and the town 300m away. Sadly it was an unusually very rainy week during their stay so perhaps travelling by car to places made them seem further than they are on foot. Yes it is downhill to the beach (and uphill on the way back) and this is true for most properties on the islands since the Dalmatian islands are hilly and even mountainous in places and almost all the seaside towns have hills down to the beaches. The street for parking is 30m from the house and walking access to the house is along a quaint pedestrian path between the house gardens that we feel adds greatly to the charm of the house since no cars pass by and so the house and garden are very private and secluded as a result. But we appreciate their comments about walking back after dark and we will install adequate torches for guest use, usually neighbours lights are on so would provide lighting but we will recommend all future guests leave the outdoor lights to the house on when leaving for an evening out
