A modern house situated in the picturesque village of Tullycross in Connemara. 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , a sitting room, a kitchen / dining doom is fully equipped to a high standard and has wireless internet access. The sitting room has an open fire, television, and DVD player. The kitchen dining area has a French door opening out to a spacious balcony suitable for outdoor dining or just relaxing, enjoying the peace. The house is equipped with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The living areas have underfloor heating while bedrooms have electric panel heaters. The house is situated on the Renvyle peninsula which offers spectacular scenery, large sandy beaches, wonderful walks, fishing, and a range of amenities including the Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, and convivial pubs and hotel in the village. Clifden, Cleggan, and Leenane are all within a 30 minute drive. The house is a split level with a self-contained apartment on the lower level.

Renvyle (Rinn Mhaoile meaning narrow peninsula) lies in wild unspoilt north west Connemara. The peninsula is about 10 miles long and boasts spectacular views over the ocean, into the Twelve Bens mountains and has wonderful sandy beaches. It is the ideal location for an active break or for a chilled out lazy holiday. Within easy driving distance, there is a golf course, walks and climbs, a diving centre, trips to islands, pony trekking, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey & Gardens, Renvyle House Hotel, and attractive restaurants and pubs. The town of Clifden, 10 miles away, offers a range of facilities and amenities. The area hosts a number of festivals throughout the year including the famous Clifden Arts Week (mid-September); Bog Week (May); Sea Week (October); Clifden Pony Show (August). The village of Tullycross has a hotel, a church with Harry Clarke stained glass windows, 2 pubs with regular music sessions, a shop and a row of thatched holiday cottages.

Renvyle House Hotel is only a 10 minute drive away and boasts a very fine menu. Also within range is Rosleague Manor House and Clifden town offers further variety. However, if you like to dine at home, fresh oysters farmed in nearly Derryinver or mussels from Killary harbour can be delivered to your door within an hour of being harvested. Other fresh fish, in season, can be organised for you with local fishermen.
