This recently converted apartment has breathtaking seaviews from its spacious private terrace. The perfect beach of Kaminaki is just a few steps away. Two tavernas are close by, less than 50 metres in either direction, making Fotini ideal for a family beach holiday. The accommodation comprises two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a sitting room (with sofa bed), kitchen with dining area, two shower rooms, a spacious sea-facing terrace and shaded side patio.

Nearest beach 10 meters. Nearest taverna 25 meters. Nearest mini-market 70 meters. A few steps lead down from the property taking you right on to the beach. The water is crystal clear, making both swimming and snorkeling a delight. Smooth white pebbles are fringed with just enough sand to keep the little ones happy. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired, and a boat centre rents out motor boats and offers various types of inflatable for water amusements as well as water skiing. There are two tavernas in Kaminaki, one on the beach and another above on the rocks. The one on the beach is run by Spiros, a charming and friendly local Greek for whom nothing is too much trouble. The taverna's charm and beach-fronted location make it a popular venue.

Kaminaki Corfu: Corfu's north-east coastline is spectacularly beautiful, but has remained uniquely unspoilt in spite of its celebrity-status. Kaminaki is one of the small and enchanting bays that stud this coastline like jewels on a necklace. Still only a hamlet, with village houses occupied by their original local inhabitants, it has a mixture of modern and converted accommodation, two unpretentious tavernas (and others within easy reach), and water of Caribbean colours that laps against a gently shelving beach of pure white pebbles. One small shop and a complete absence of noisy evening entertainment are other virtues. Evenings end here with a quiet drink overlooking the sea, conversation with new or old friends, and perhaps a skinny dip to round things off!
