In the summer of 2009 we stayed 11 days in Casa Romantica. We've enjoyed our stay a lot. Casa Romantica is a nice and cosy place; well-maintained and clean. The owners of the house were very friendly and always willing to help.
In front of Casa Romantica there is a nice garden with beautiful flowers and you have a nice view of the sea. Most of the time the weather is perfect, even when it's raining in other parts of the island.
Casa Romantica lies next to Casa Bonita and the only disadvantage of the house is that the people renting Casa Bonita walk in front of your veranda when they go to their home. For us, it was no problem at all, but if you're really keen on your privacy this might be a little bit inconvenient.
The place is a good starting point for exploring the west of Madeira and, as the new high way is very close by, also Funchal and east Madeira are within short reach!
