In Lucca historical center, there is a lot to experience. Here are narrow streets and large piazza, many cafes and restaurants. You can also find everything from furniture joiners to the biggest fashion represented in a myriad of shops. Lucca is one of the few remaining Italian cities with the wall around the city. On the 4.2 km long beautiful wall, you can ride (there are more places for bike rental), stroll or a walk, jog, or have a picknick.
Lucca find residue from etruskernes time, the Roman Empire and the Renaissance.
The city center is a vibrant city all year. This city is the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini and Luigi Boccherini. Often held Puccini concerts at one of the piazza. The town has a tradition for several types of festivals, such as music, which is held in July every year (always with the well-known international stars). In the summer you can go on the outdoor theater on a piazza 100 m from the apartment. This is a charming experience, as taken out of the Italian move
