Local Area:
The local area is very tranquil, with many walks in unspoilt countryside. The town of Huercal Overa is just 15 minutes drive, and here you will find all the amenities you need, including, banks, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and a large market which is held on Mondays. Also in this town is an Olympic sized swimming pool.
Approximately 40 minutes drive are the beaches of Mojacar/Vera/ and San Juan. San Juan being the best of the three, is an uncrowded typically Spanish beach, which also has many private coves. In Mojacar you can visit the old town up in the hills, a tourist spot with again, many restaurants, bars and shops. The views are stunning.
Mojacar/Vera/San Juan:

Directions from Alicante Airport
Follow signs to Murcia on the E15/N340. As you pass Murcia, you will see signs to Almeria/Granada E15/N340. Keep on this motorway (autovia) past Lorca and Puerta Lumbreras until you come to junction 553 Huercal Overa and then follow signs to Santa Maria De Nieva A327. You will be met in Santa Maria De Nieve and taken to the apartment.
Directions from Murcia Airport (San Javier), take the 3319 to Murcia which joins the 301 to Murcia, then follow the directions as set out above.
Directions from Almeria Airport - Follow signs to Murcia N340/E15 until you see signs for Huercal Overa junction 553, take this exit and follow signs to Santa Maria De Nieve.
Directions from Granada Airport - From Granada take the A92 to Guadix, then the A92N all the way past Baza until Puerto Lumbreras. Change to the N345/E15 signposted to Almeria until you hit junction 553 Huercal Overa, take this exit and then follow signs to Santa Maria De Nieve.
