Two bedroom (1 double 1 twin) villa with own private pool, situated in a rural location amongst farmland, well furnished providing all you need for a perfect holiday or honeymoon. Totally private and secluded but only a few minutes drive from beach, marina, restaurants and shops. Car hire necessary but ideally suited for exploring the island. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, etc. Price includes everything including beach towels and generous welcome pack. Outside is a pool terrace with shaded area containing table and chairs, a purpose built barbeque, plenty of other chairs and loungers with cushions. Lots of hot water heated, like the pool, by solar panels on the roof which are boosted by electricity in the winter. Two bathrooms, one en-suite. Parking area on private drive, Large lounge/diner with books, DVDs, radio/CD player, English TV programmes. (no need to miss Eastenders) Friendly and helpful staff. Golf course nearby.

About one km from the nearest restaurants, mini mart and garage, Casa Bonita is situated in a rural location with views of the ocean, Fuerteventura and Lobos Island. Nearby are horse and camel rides, the beautiful marina of Puerto Calero, beaches and promenade at Puerto del Carmen, Puerto's Old Town and the modern shopping centre Biosphere. Ideally placed for excursions to Timanfaya national park, the green lake, Cesar Manrique foundation, green caves, Guinate tropical park, Mirador del Rio, cactus garden, etc. A new golf course is a few minutes drive and other activities include a submarine, catamaran, water skiing, scuba diving, banana boat, paragliding and many more. Teguise boasts a huge Sunday market to buy lovely table clothes & bedlinen as well as leather goods and crafts. Make sure you haggle as they expect it. Wine tasting is a treat at La Geria vineyards and at the wine museum El Griffo. From the villa your only view is of fields, mountains and sea - perfect.

Notes: There are 5 or 6 easy steps up to the terrace from the driveway and a couple of steps inside the villa. However, our elderly visitors return year after year so unless steps are a particular problem it is suitable. There are roman steps down into the pool with a handrail for safety. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times and a cot and highchair are available on request for no extra charge. Linen is changed weekly and towels (except beach towels) mid week as well.
