Set in the hillside above the white church of Kalathos, this fully air conditioned luxury villa with private pool and garden offers families, friends and couples a beautiful villa location with panoramic views of the sea. The villa has 2 upstairs bedrooms each with its own balcony, the 3rd bedroom is on the ground floor with a veranda. The bathroom has a bath, with shower over. There is a downstairs shower room and a fully fitted kitchen. The village of Kalathos is 2 minutes drive down the road with shops, tavernas, restaurants, supermarket, petrol station, and has good bus and taxi services. There is a private access road with parking outside the villa for a car. The temperature is good all year round with temps in 25-35 from late April to late Oct as we have experienced so a great place to visit anytime.

Nearest Ferry: Rhodes Town at 40 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 1 Kilometres
Car: recommended
The local village of Kalathos has all usual amenities; bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, petrol and many cafes and restaurants. The beach is not far from the villa, but there are many more on Rhodes to visit including the sandy beachs of Pefkos and Prasonisi which also has wind/kite surfing, Falaraki is a party town with europe's biggest waterpark and many pubs and clubs. Rhodes town is very historic with the old walled town and palace to visit, also the harbour with the famous windmills and many cafes to watch the world go by. The new town has many designer and traditional Rhodian shops and restaurants. Lindos is famous for its acropolis and sugar cube houses, its lovely to walk around and visit the traditional lace shops and marvel at the architecture.

  • Bathroom 1, which is the upstairs one, has toilet, bath with shower and large vanity area around the sink. The downstairs room is a wet room with a shower, toilet and sink.

  • The cot is a travel cot, so when unused it is stored in the 2nd bedrooms wardrobe in its storage bag. Both the upstairs bedrooms (1&2) have dressing tables and mirrors and power outlets, There is a hairdryer and safe for guest use. All wardrobes are fitted and have ample space. The 1st bedroom has a large terrace which is over the kitchen and dining area, this is tiled with a small patio set and wooden beams overhead. The 2nd bedroom has a balcony to the front of the house, where the views span from the hillside right round the bay to the church in front of the villa. The downstairs bedroom had a patio with furniture and leads to the steps to the pool through the garden.

I'll start off by saying that the provided pictures do not do much justice to the actual villa. Positioned away from the main national road,this villa has a great view from either the main dining room, the terace or the pool.It's nicely decorated and its even more beautiful during the night - the pool's timed lights and the main dining room's dimmed light certainly add up to its "warm" or even "romantic" atmosphere.Kalathos village is not a very lively place but then again I think its best if the place of your stay is not full of noise,clubs or bars. Still all the necessary shops such as restaurants,snack bars, gasoline station,supermarket and drug store are in walking distance from the villa.For those into more lively holidays, Lindos village is just the next village to Kalathos with a taste of Rhodes' night life with all its bars and pubs - definitely a place to visit either during the day or night.
Furthermore, I was very impressed with the owner's friendly and helpful spirit.Their provided booklets included all necessary info for the visitors such as recommended beaches, places to visit, restaurants etc etc.The RPM services made sure the villa was in perfect order for our arrival but after that were totally unobtrusive but still helpful - more detailed info was provided by them in the form of booklets inside the villa.
All in all I was very satisfied having chosen this villa and I'd definitely recommend it to singles,couples or families with children

I'm glad i picked this villa, it was spacious and tastefully decorated, my wife and i really enjoyed having breakfast on the pool terrace and watching the world go by from the fantastic vantage point in the hillside. We loved the local village, the people were very friendly and the local cuisine was excellent. Rhodes is a great place to visit as there is so much to do, you can get away without a car, but if you want to visit places all over the island the you can hire one easily, taxis and buses are also easy to find and use, the welcome pack and owners website gave lots of interesting and essential information. The property was well looked after by the maintenace company and they were very friendly when visiting the villa and the communication with the owners was excellent. I would definately be recommending the villa to friends, family and work colleagues. overall very impressive.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
