This 3 bedroom townhouse is in the heart of the Old Village, totally renovated in 2008. Just 15 minutes walk from the marina and beach, it is a little community in its own right with restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. Wander around the pretty cobbled streets, enjoy a cool drink at on open air cafe or take a refreshing dip in any one of the three large swimming pools. There’s plenty of room for the kids to stretch their legs with lawned areas and a play ground. The house is fully furnished and equipped. The spacious lounge and dining room opens onto a lovely sunny patio and garden- ideal for al fresco dining and soaking up the sun. The house is full of home comforts including Sky TV in the lounge and air conditioning in the bedrooms. The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated and the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. You can also enjoy the sunshine and a barbecue in the privacy of your own roof terrace with views over Vilamoura to

The Old Village is an ideal location for relaxing sunshine and family holidays as everything you need is on site. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants serving Portuguese and international cuisine, snacks and drinks including Casa do Largo, Zanzibar, Princess Gardens, the Village Inn, Bar Nautica, Sports bar and O Cafe. There is also a small supermarket and off-license. The onsite security is good so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. There are 3 pools and a children's play area. Vilamoura is one of the largest privately owned resorts in Europe so you can be sure of enjoying first class amenities in pleasant surroundings. Its famous for its excellent golf courses, sandy beaches and upmarket marina. There’s also lots to see and do in the local area including water-sports, boat trips, excursions to historic towns and markets and waterparks. At night Vilamoura’s bars, restaurants and casino really come to life with cuisine and entertainment to suit every taste.

Beautiful setting, fantastic accomodation

I stayed here in September 2008 with my girlfriend. We had an excellent time. The accomodation was beautiful, it had everything we could have wished for in it and was much, much bigger than we actually needed. The old village is spectacular, full of flowers and really, really pretty (or so my girlfriend thought!). The swimming pools were fantastic and there is a few of them so they were always uncrowded. The town house has its own small garden and roof terrace if you want to enjoy the sun in peace and quiet.

The town house is only 10 minutes walk from miles of beaches and the stunning marina in Vilamoura with loads of shops, restaurants and bars. There are also a few restaurants in the Old Village though we usually walked to the Marina to eat or cooked ourselves.

Anyway long-story-short, I would definately recommend both this accomodation and the area.
