Modern 4 bedroom villa with private pool and enclosed garden with swings and slide. Electric gates at entrance. Pool fencing in place meeting French safety standards for young children. Barbecue for alfresco cooking. Large airy comfortable living/dining room over looking pool and garden in very quiet residential area.4 double bedrooms baby cot and chair available.Utility room with washing machine and drier. 4 adult bikes and one smaller bike suit 8-10 y. 5min from large supermarket and local boulangerie & tabac 5 mins walk away. 5min drive from beautiful Lake with beach and swimming facilities and tree climbing enclosure for all ages. Lovely walks around the lake with volley ball courts and petanque areas for public use.Great for picnics. 5min from Carcassonne Castle and lovely town of Carcassonne with weekly food markets on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday mornings. Musical Festival runs in July. 45min drive from sea and Narbonne beach. 10 min drive to villa from Carcassonne airport.

Everything was just like it was described on the web site. The owner and the local agent were both very friendly and flexible. The bikes and the swimming pool were excellent, as well as location of the villa if you have a car in use. Inside of the house was quite plain but very well working. We expected the house to be a little bit cleaner. I do not know the general practice but for us one of the first things to do was cleaning with a vacuum which of course was found from the house. The beds were totally lovely and clean and there were plenty of towels for use at the pool and so on. The kitchen was functional although some tools were missed. There were also different kinds of games and dvd-movies as well as color pencils and play cards for adults and kids. The weather was great at the end of June. Hard wind, which is quite common there in my understanding, settled down after the first day of our stay. Neighbor houses were very close but the yard with the pool was peaceful and in privacy. I would definitely recommend this property for any family. Our 2-months-old baby, 3-year-old and 17-year-old girl all had great time.
