Photos and Description of this Lucca holiday farmhouse 4 bedroom house near Lucca in secluded beautiful position 'Le Sorgenti'.

The house has been completely renovated in a tasteful Tuscan style, with a artistic colourful touch. The bedrooms are big and each one with its own style and amazing views into nature. Three of them go directly into the garden. You can wake up and walk outside barefoot. The three bathrooms are beautiful and original. We painted the walls with earth ancient colours: every hour they change into the day light. The kitchen is comfortable and spacious. It is fully equipped and goes out into the sunny garden.The ancient arch divides kitchen from the living room with its cosy fireplace. Next door in the study you can find books and satellite TV. At the desk you can sit and write your postcards. This room as well as the kitchen and living room leads out into the lovely garden. A little stroll takes you to the ancient former wash basin entirely out of stone, which has been converted into a romantic old style pool (3x3m) where you can cool off surrounded by lovely trees and fern.

The house lies between Lucca and the sea side. It's just 10 min. drive far from the lovely town of Lucca, close as well to less known towns as Camaiore and Pietrasanta. The sandy beached of Versilia are 20min.drive far. The Puccini Summer Festival is 15 min. drive. The whole area is interesting historically and from a natural point of view. If you love walking, the Alpi Apuane are half an hour far, and you can see them beautifully standing from the living room. The outlet In Barberino del Mugello for unforgettable shopping is only 1and half hour far!

  • The master bathroom is beautiful. The view is amazing, it has a bath and a wide shower. It is a comfortable place also for two or for a family gathering. The other two bathrooms are cosy and particular. They both have a wide shower with cobbled stones, one is red, the other blue.

  • All four bedrooms can either be double or with two single beds. The master bedroom is large and beautiful. It has two wide windows and a stunning view over the hills and the garden. You can sit just outside in the terrace-garden at any time of the day relaxing. The Cherry Tree bedroom overlooks on the ancient cherry tree in front of the house. In May you can touch its lovely white flowers with your hand from the window. The blue bedroom is romantic and overlooks the front of the house, and the ancient church of Castagnori. The fourth bedroom is down stairs, easy and practical for who can't or does not want to walk up the stairs. It has a door to walk outside, and its private bathroom has a very wide and original shower.

Notes: The pool is in fact an ancient wash basin with running fresh water that comes out from the roots of chestnut trees. You can't really swim in it, but it is lovely for children or to cool off in the hot summer days. It is as well a romantic peaceful place, where you can have a drink at sunset, or a picnic. If you would like just to relax once arrived, we can organize for you a welcome dinner: for a minimum of 4 persons either a full corse dinner (wine included) for 25euro per person, or a cool-summer antipasti dinner for 15 euro per person, with lovely fresh italian food.
