Photos and Description of this Kalkan - Kas area holiday villa 4 bed (2 ensuite). Large sitting dining area, terrace, courtyard, gardens

Ville Libelle is south facing, overlooking the Mediterranean on the prestigious Kas Peninsula. It has mature gardens, a large sitting terrace, and every room (except bathrooms and the cinema room) has wonderful sea views. The terrace adjoins the lounge and leads directly to the infinity edge swimming pool, which can be lit at night. It is a spacious and well set out home inside, and outside there is a shaded courtyard by the kitchen,for open air dining and using the barbeque. Entering the villa's front door, there is a cloakroom on the left, a cinema room is next on the left. A staircase leads off the hall to 2 bedrooms with ensuite facilities and lovely balconies looking to the sea.The kitchen and utility room are at the end of the hall, providing all the usual facilities. Down 3 steps is the lounge and dining room, with panoramic views and access to the outside terrace. 2 further bedrooms are located downstairs, and these share a shower room and toilet facilities.Car parking on site.

Nearest Beach: beach at 100.0 Metres
Car: recommended
Kas is a relaxing place with lots of outdoor pursuit possibilities. We have contacts with companies who can take you diving,or teach you for the PADI certificate. There are canoe trips down rivers, and also many sea kayaking possibilities. There are 4 or 5 paragliding companies who will take you gliding in tandem, or if you are experienced you can go on your own. It is easy to hire a gulet in Kas and spend the day exploring the nearby islands and bays, and you can swim where you want and the gulet captain will cook what you want for lunch. There are mountain bikes to hire, jeep safaris to go on. Canyon walking(it will probably be wet)is a very popular day out. You must visit Kekova for historic sights and to learn about the underwater city. You can take a ferry there from Kas. The Greek island of Kastelorizo has many day trips by gulet.But why not just relax some days, and go to Kas and enjoy the relaxed (not overrun) lifestyle. Bars, restaurants, some dance places,many swimming places

  • Two bedrooms have ensuite facilities and also a large sea facing balcony where you can sit in private. Two further bedrooms are down stairs from the terrace and share a shower room. There is also a small food preparation area, where there is a refrigerator, basin and kettle. Suitable for snack preparation. This makes bedrooms 3 and 4 quite self contained from the rest of the villa, sometimes ideal for older children.

Notes: There are numerous outside sitting areas, if you might wish to spend some private time, reading or relaxing. In the upper cactus garden is a quiet area away from the villa, where you can sit looking over the villa to the sea. By the front door is another courtyard, where a small number of guests might like to have breakfast on a warm day, as it is well shaded. Outside the kitchen is another courtyard, where barbeques are possible using the gas barbeque. There is a dining table here, and also an outside sofa, which, when covered with cushions is ideal for reading, thinking, or sometimes just going to sleep. The terrace has plenty of seating, and is south facing, towards the sea. There is a sea swimming platform, and those not swimming well should bring life vests, as the water is deep straight away. In summer the sea water is very warm, but you should not swim there if the wind is strong.
